Chapter Seventy

Ivy's POV

Living with someone with dementia was really an emotional rollercoaster. Bianca, had always been a source of love and affection in my life. But now, with her memory fading, it was a struggle to see her not recognizing me half the time we were together. Despite the pain in my heart, I had to remain strong for her and for myself.

Jax, my husband, was my pillar of support. He understood the challenges we faced and did everything in his power to ensure that both Bianca and his father, Dan, who was also battling his own health issues, were taken care of. It was a pain seeing as Bianca didn't even remember her own husband, the absolute love of her life on several different occasions.

We all continued to be a tightly-knit unit, navigating the complexities of this disease together. We made a vow to ourselves that we were not going to let the circumstances that we found ourselves in rob us off of our joy. We were all going to continue to have love and joy no matter the outcome but I
