They got me ready and then moved me to sit in the car that they had used to bring me here. When they were all done packing they loaded up in the car. Blake drove and Sarin, Grant, and Beck sat in the middle row of sits and Craden were sitting in the very back with our things. I was sitting in the passenger seat looking out the window to the scenery that I had seen so little of in my life unless it was one of my parent's computers.

I leaned back as far as my Grant would let me; he petted my hair soon I was asleep. When I was woken up by Sarin getting me out of the car. Our things were being carried into a ran down looking plantation home. I remember seeing it when it was at recess or lunch from the top of the climbing equipment that I sat alone.

"Sir, why are you sitting back here?" I butler asked as Craden was climbing out of the car through the trunk.

"I've pissed off my beloveds." was his only remark as he gestured to us. "Do they have their room made up?" The butler nodded leading us to our room after Carden walked off to take care of a rather loud commotion going on somewhere else in the house.

"If either of you needs anything just let your blood slave know." I didn't know if that was a maid or if it was a blood whore that got a job here.

Sarin brought me to the bed that was surprisingly comfortable. That's when I took in the room. It had a modern take on the era in which the house was built. There was a scream from Sarin as he had opened half of the clothes to find a person standing there. The box he was going to put in there was just my clothes and a few books it had all spilled out of the box and into the clothes. The person looked at Sarin and then at me and then to the things on the floor. It was a man I saw as he bent down and cleaned up the things. Closing his closet half and opened the other to hang my things up placed my shoes on a sliding shoe tray. He looked at me as he placed the books under my clothes.

I gave him a thumbs up and then came a small smile. He looked to Sarin that had left the room to the hallway to get his box and the one with my bathroom things. The man took Sarin's clothes and placed them in the empty half of the side where my clothes were. When Sarin came out of the bathroom from unpacking the man did the same thing looking at him.

"That's very good." Sarin said the man gave a deep bow and closed that half of the clothes and then went to his side.

I looked at Sarin and then to the man in the closet, "Yeah it's fucking creepy." He said nodding to me. We decided to take a nap if we could.

There was a knock at the door that woke us but the man had already let Blake into the room.

"I came to see how you guys are settling in." She smiled at us waiting for something I just looked at the man that was now standing in front of the door.

"Yeah, why is that man staying in our closet?" Sarin said for both of us.

"Oh this here is Adrian, he became a blood whore and was brought here as a blood slave they clean the room, serve you, let you drink from them. Though I know you two don't need that." Blake sat at the end of the bed since we hadn't moved. My eyes never left Adrian's.

"He's creepy Blake," Sarin deadpanned "He doesn't say anything and he's staying in a fucking closet!"

"He's a mute. If he doesn't stay here then he gets moved to another room or killed. Probably be killed since we have enough of these blood slaves." Blake said looking between the two of us.

I could see the fear in his eyes.

"Well do I kill him for you or does he stay."

"He stays." Sarin said going to leave the room that Adrian opened the door for him.

"I have to hear it from you Blair-Boo." Blake walked over to him placing hands on his kneck

The fear in his eyes increased. I licked my lips and pushed the words out as well as I could, "He stays." Blake's hands were off of him in a second and out of the room.

Adrian went and got a notebook and pen from his closet side and came and kneeled by the bed did some writing and then handed it to me.

  Are you deaf or mute?

No, I got hurt badly by my beloved.

That man that was sleeping with you this afternoon?

No, Blake's brother is both our beloved. We're in-betweens so Sarin is my other half that makes me a whole person.

Haven't they been being killed for quite a long time?

In betweens, Yes.

What did the Sir do to you that made you mute?

He hurt Sarin as an in-between we are tied together as mates would be. I was on his lap when he lost his temper with Sarin; in retrospect me. He stood up making me fall to the floor went to Sarin and choked him and then throw him back into the chair. I was on the floor so I got the air knocked out of me and then didn't get any more into my lungs and then when he shoved Sarin into the chair it broke my skull in the floor. The skull fragments then pierced my brain. Blake fixed me but the trauma of it resulted in my body not work that well. My throat is all bruised and my vocal box hurts so much when I talk.

Why not just reject him?

Sarin and I would have to both reject him the same way at the same time. If I rejected him but Sarin didn't then I would still be like I never rejected him. If we both did then Sarin and I could mate just fine. With the law passed we could live anywhere we wanted. It wouldn't even have to be in a community.

Why not just do that?

Because I've been raised on lies and misplaced trust. I want to be sure that things are the truth. Why do you seem so adamant that we leave him?

Because I don't want to see you hurt like this. You are going to be my queen and I want him to treat you the way you deserve. If he's not going to change and treat you as such then if you were both gone I'd know your safe.

"That's very kind of you, Adrian." I slowly said making my throat be in agonizing pain I wanted him to know the feeling I wanted to converse.

Don't talk. I know what you feel when I look at those eyes of yours.

I could tell you were afraid that we would choose to kill you.

I know that at any point I get new people that stay in the room I could get killed or moved if they had killed someone else. It's always fearful when you realize that the next person holds your life in their hands. After all, I'm just things in a closet. Like clothes, books, a broom-

I throw the pen at the closet. I wasn't going to let him say those things about himself. He might have chosen to be a blood whore or not; he definitely wasn't choosing to be treated like he was trash. I shook my head and closed the book I placed it in his hands and pointed for him to go put it away and then sit on the side of the bed.

Sarin came in with our soup. "I had to almost break the cook's arms to even make our soup. The cook said and I quote you tell me how to make it and then you leave and I come to give it to you. I was like it won't taste the way we need it to then. The cook was like I'm great I can cook anything just by being told how to make it and it's just perfect for them. Do you think we would be working here if we didn't? I was like I don't fucking care if you think you can make it just the way we want it made but it's all about the taste we have so I'm making it or I'm going to rip your arms off your body and cook them into my soup and it would still taste like how I always make it." Adrian helped me up and sat into the chair at the small table.

Sarin ate quickly to help me when Adrian pulled the bowl away from him holding out his hand demanding the spoon to feed me. Sarin gave him the spoon to feed me. Adrian made sure it was a small amount on the spoon. He was slow that enough that if it did start out of my mouth he caught it in time.

Carden came barging into the room in mid-bite of the soup. Adrian looked at Carden then back to me and just went back to feeding me.

"I heard that you threaten the cook Sarin."

"You are here for that? I'd thought you'd be here to gravel." Sarin said flipping through channels

"What is the point of having a cook if you don't use him? You think I need a cook?"

"Oh, you got the cook just for us? All in-betweens have their own taste of how they make their soup. It's like an autopilot thing it comes out the same perfect soup every time we make it. I'm not going to use a cook to do something that I'm an expert on." Sarin said landing on the big bang theory. What episode I couldn't tell you. "You want me to gravel? Do you both want me to gravel?" He looked at me. I just went about finishing off me soup with the complete help of Adrian.

When finished I took Adrian's arm and bite into it releasing a mind linking venum that would link him, Sarin and I together. I made the bite quick.

"Tell him, yes Sarin I'd like for him to grovel until he feels he's going to live his whole life on the ground and then for him to grovel some more. How dare he think that he'd get off with just the silent treatment after he could've well killed me. Graveling is what he should be doing." I linked Sarin giving Craden the death glare.

Sarin said "This just in from Blair-Boo, Yes, I'd like for you to grovel until you feel like your going to live your whole life on the ground and then you should grovel some more. How dare you think that you'd get off with just the silent treatment after you could've well killed me. Graveling is exactly what you should be doing." Carden looked from Sarin to me and then between me and Adrian.

"I-" He closed his mouth and left the room.

"Can you hear me?" I asked at the door to Adrian's mind

He looked at me as I asked again "Can you hear me?" He nodded and a "Yes" soon came after to mine.

"Good I didn't know if the venom would do its job or not," I said just as I had talked before.

"I have to say this is so much better than writing all the time," Adrian said taking me to the couch. "You'd like to watch tv with him right?" I gave a small nod and Adrian went back to the closet.

"You bite him. When?" Sarin asked during a commercial

"Before I spoke to your mind to reply to Carden. Why should've not done it." I sent to his mind

"No, it made ours easier to use adding someone else into it to stable you out. Come here." Sarin gently held me to his chest.

"What are we supposed to do here? Carden is the ruler of the community and was just what, suppose to stay in this room? I mean I find that fact that they make the blood whores slaves and then make them live in a closet so upsetting. Besides he looks like they don't feed him at all."

"From what I gathered from Blake we are guests until we mate with Carden and as guests, we don't have to do anything. We have free rain of the house and its amenities. Carden thought a cook would be a good idea for us but I think you saw that we won that one. Are you hungry again?"

"No. I'm just so very tired. Sometimes I think that I shouldn't have woken up when I did. Like I should've been in a coma." I  sent to Sarin looking at the closet Adrian was sitting in. I could slightly make out the screen that let him see out the door like it had a window.

"Adrian, come take me to bed. Sarin looks like he's about to fall asleep himself. If he did that well I was in his arms I think my injuries would worsen." Adrian stepped out of the closet and came and took me gently into his arms. He was strong despite the fact it looks that he was not getting any feedings himself. He moved slowly and surely to the bed placing me down as if I was a feather being laid out for display.

"How is it your strong enough to hold me when it looks as if you haven't had a feeding in so long?" Adrian froze for a second before covering me snuggly in the blankets.

"They inject me with a drug that very slowly releases blood to my system when it is needed. The butler also is the doctor of the estate so when he does his routine checks of the rooms he knows when we need a new injection of the drug. Though if I'm serving Sir's beloveds then I could be getting actual blood. I wouldn't even mind if it was animal as long as my body felt stronger."

"I think I understand how you feel." My eyes grew heavy and as they closed I heard Adrian say. "You just get that much need rest." I was out.

I left the room when I woke with Adrian's help, I was sitting in one of the living rooms when a leggy,  redhead came in a looked us both over and then called for Carden. There was no tv in the room but it was more of a sunroom. Adrian had brought a book to me.

"What is this funny thing doing here?" The redhead said pointing at me. Carden broke every bone in her hand she only gave a grunt.

"That's no way to speak of one of my beloveds." I just went about reading my book. Adrian just stood against the wall out of the way. The redhead laughed and walked gracefully off to fix her hand I guess.

"I went to your room but you were already gone? Do you know where Sarin is?" I gave a shrugged.

"Sarin was gone when I woke up." I had gone back to my reading. Carden just looked at me for a little and then nodded and come to kneel in front of me. "I came to gravel. I'm truly so very very very very very sorry."

"Why did you think it was okay to handle Sarin that way? He was saying the things I would've said." I pushed to his mind staring into his eyes to reach his soul.

"I was so very angry and I couldn't hold it in so I attacked. I was stupid to think that you'd be fine given that you are tied to Sarin. I'm so very very very very very sorry." Carden said trying to hold my hands.

"Adrian, I'm done here. I'd like to go back to my room and I don't want him there." Adrian took the book and tucked under his arm and then helped me up to make our way back to the room.

"I'm trying here Blair, please spend the day with me," Carden said running up to Adrian's side. He stopped fearing that if we moved anymore he'd grab for him resulting in me being hurt farther.

I shook my head. Adrian waited for a reaction and when there wasn't one we went to the room. Sarin was there with some food. I tried to feed myself but I shook too much so Adrian took over.

"I heard that Carden broke a girl's hand and then graveled to you. I don't think I like that girl so much." I gave a sigh I just wanted to be left alone. Now that I think about it that all I've ever wanted to have. To be alone. Sure it was nice having my brothers there to play with but they gave up so much to spend their time to be with me.

"I don't think she was just any girl. I think they were having a relationship. What kind I don't know for sure but I didn't like her the moment I saw her. Never mind that for now, I want a bath, Sarin."

"How about a bath later I have to go sneak around the house some more and gather gossip." I felt mad I wanted aloneness when I was a kid but I should've at least had Sarin with me.

"Adrian go start the bath. You're going to be joining me so bring clothes for yourself to change into." I made my way there slowly and holding on to the furniture as I went.

"Shouldn't Sarin or Sir be doing that?" Adrian said starting the bath nonetheless. He got me undressed and into the tub but didn't move to get in at all. I gave a sigh and sent Carden, "Come to my room ready to take a bath together. You touch me other than to clean me and I'll have Adrian kick you out."

Shortly after that Carden was undressing in front of me. He slowly got in moving me to be on top of him. Adrian was still standing where he was to Carden sent him away to the bedroom. I moved off of him sitting in between his legs as I washed my body.

"I'm sorry Blair-Boo, please I need to know you're both not going to leave me. I know I messed up big time and I regret ever touching Sarin. I hate myself so much." Carden was trying to nuzzle his face into my neck. I kept pushing him away Adrian came in hearing the hitting.

"Adrian will you do my hair this fucker can't seem to get on my good side." I sent dagger eyes at Carden. He used a cup that was sitting on the rim of the tub to get my hair wet.

"Aren't I supposed to be doing that," Carden said it more like it was a statement than a question.

I shook my head and let Adrian do the first wash of my hair and rinse it and to the real wash of my hair. Carden just sat there making sure I didn't drown in the tub. Adrian was on the conditioner when Sarin came in took a look over the scene before he left.

Adrian left once he got done brushing my hair being gentle of my healing scalp. He expertly braided it up in a crown around my head. Carden had just sat there the whole time looking at me with sad eyes.

"Are you going to tell me if you two are going to leave me or not?"

"I"m not sure yet? Is that redhead an ex-lover of yours?" I pushed to his head still looking at him with dagger eyes.

"Heaven's no. She's from a lesser family that thinks I'll take their daughter." His face held discuss for a second as he said, family.

"When you broke her hand she acted like you had done that to her a lot." I looked right into his black starry eyes.

"I'll admit I let my anger out on her more then I'd like to say. She's got this crazy notion that at least she's here to serve me. I think her parents like the fact that even if I'm not marrying her that I'm at least letting her stay here to brag about.

"So you're saying their all okay with you abusing her the way you do?"

His voice deepened, "I wasn't going to let her just insult you."

"Like you always let Nora insult me?" I tilted my head at him.

"I didn't let her. She paid for it dearly and before you go thinking I always break bones I sent her parents a letter telling them how they treated you and they dealt with it harshly. Now tell me with assurity are you two going to leave me?"

Adrian had come back in at hearing Carden's voice changing. He helped me stand and then sat me on the side of the tub as he dried me off. He dressed me, Carden watched his hands the whole time. All dressed I left the bathroom with Adrian catching me as my legs gave out at the door.

"Come on little queen let's get you to bed your body seems to need it." Adrian smiled down at me. I gave a giggle that sounded more like a harsh gurgle.

"Blair-Boo!" It was my brother's "How are you doing. Blake finally told us where you were." Beck said sitting down at the end of the bed well Adrian got me settled. I gave them a sideways thumb.

"I guess that's to be expected. Well, we were thinking we'd take you out on the ground or around town if you'd like to go get some fresh air." Grant said coming to my side holding my hand.

I was falling asleep as they talked. Carden came out of the bathroom with a towel wrapped around his long hair.

"You are here!" Grant had Carden up against the wall

"Huh, I was asked here by your sister." Carden just looked at Grant and then to me. Grant looked at me and I gave a nod. He let go of Carden, who just readjusted his clothes and left the room.

Beck came and laid on the edge of the bed beside me, "So what do you think about tomorrow?"

"It sounds very nice." I managed to get out of my throat. The agonizing pain after made me want to never talk again, why was I still pushing words out of my mouth when it hurt so much. The butler from before was giving Adrian his shot and instead of leaving he stayed making my brothers leave. Sarin slipped into the room placing the soup on the table and went and watched tv.

The butler came and lightly pressed his fingers along my throat. He then did it again with a tiny machine, "You shouldn't talk your vocal cords were damaged through the link you and Sarin have." He went about checking my brain with the small machine, "Your brain shows very concerning result that I'll have to go over in more depth but rest as much as you can and don't do any strenuous activities." He gathered his things over by Adrian and left.

"Blair-Boo are you feeling okay?" Sarin asked getting into bed with me with the soup.

"I'm fine. Adrian and I have managed through the days we've been here." I ate the soup he had brought over. It was still very warm and perfect like always.

"I've gathered quite a lot of entail today. Adrian is starting to be on Carden's shit list because he's taking care of you and not him or myself. The cook that I got in a fight with has been slaving over how to make our soup and is failing and ranting about it. That redhead girl left after seeing the doctor. Though I saw her come back through the cook's door sometime before I came back up here."

"That sounds like high school. Which reminds me, I've missed so much. Though I don't think Carden would let me go back." I snuggled down into my blankets and went to sleep.

Sarin was at the table with soup and Adrian was sitting on the side of the bed with a pile of neatly folded clothes.

"You're finally awake. How did you sleep." Sarin said bringing over my soup. I ate and gave him a thumb up. "Blake came in earlier while you were still sleeping and gave us these clothes for you to wear out today with your brothers."

Adrian and Sarin both helped me get changed into a dress. It hugged my upper body and started to puff out at the waist into an above the knee flowing day dress. Adrian rebraided my hair. Sarin did a light make up.

Adrian took me to a car and got into the backseat with me. My brothers were in front. They didn't say where we were going they just drove away.

It was sometime after we had left. I'd fallen asleep on Adrian's lap. He helped me out of the car. We waited as my brothers got several blankets out of the trunk of the car.

"Let's go find a nice shady spot shall we!" Beck said as we headed off to the park. There were children playing on the equipment while their parents looked at making sure they behaved. I looked on with jealousy, I was only allowed to play in my backyard. I'd asked my parents for some play equipment but they said I'd get hurt again.

Adrian covered me up with the second blanket they brought then sat on the bigger first one.

"The doctor said you couldn't play any games with us but saw the problem in letting you watch and take in the fresh air."

"Did he have my brain test results?" I asked them to play with the frills on the blanket.

"He said that Blake healed you up very nicely but the brain took a hard hit all around. Your motor skills are going to take some time coming back to you." Beck said giving me a wary smile. I touched my throat.

"He said if you don't talk you'll have your voice back within three years at least." my eyes widened and they dropped their heads.

Three years without saying a word aloud, "There's also the fact that your brain may not fully heal unless with the help of an outside force. He said that the shared watching of your life with Sarin healed you enough to wake you and give back very minimal motor skills but that's as much as it gave you." Grant said playing with a piece of grass.

We were silent and just enjoyed the time away from Carden's house. Adrian took me back to the car when I started to slouch over in his arms. The trip back was as silent as to when we went but there was an air of sadness now.

When we got back it was dark and the lights from inside woke me. My brothers had already left for inside. Adrian wanted to take things slow as it was dark out and my injuries were much worse than originally thought. As Adrian finally took me inside Carden was in the sunroom.

"How was the time outside?" I nodded for good.

"Blair, the doctor told Sarin and me just how hard and long it will take for you to heal. I hate myself so much. I'm so very very sorry Blair-Boo. I hope that you'll forgive me someday." Carden left to his wing and Adrian looked down into my eyes.

"He says very so much that it's killing the word very to the point it has no meaning to me."

I gave him a mental giggle, "I know. A part of me is screaming for me to forgive him and the other part of me just wants to see him suffer the way I'm."

"It's been a busy day. Let's get you to bed." Adrian laid me in bed waited till I was asleep and then went to his closet.

Darkness

As I awoke today there was no one, nothing. It took me a long time of just standing to understand I was in the darkness.

"Sarin!" I called as I stumbled around.

"There you are." Sarin said grabbing a hold of me and going to the seating.

"It took me longer to realize where I was." I felt Sarin's breath on my neck as he slowly breathed me in.

"Would you like to go watch time in old Egypt?" he laid down the couch holding my body crushingly close to him.

  "Yes," I said.

Old Egypt

"Sarin! Sarin!" We were in our house I had just found out we were mates with Carden.

"I found our mate today!" I was beaming a smile ear to ear.

 "Who was it, Belladonna?"

"You won't believe me but it's the royals only son," I said starting to make the soup I tasted it practically to see the temperature.

"Carden? He's been known to sleep around a lot. I don't know about being with him." Sarin added ingredients to the soup as I checked the temperature again.

"I knew you would be like this. You are always going on about you just being enough for me. You know I felt someone else out there that's meant to be ours and you don't even want to go for it. Why?"

"We're happy the way we are now. We definitely don't need Carden and all his shit coming into our happiness, Belladonna. I've said my bit I don't want to hear any more about it."

Time-shifted

Sarin and I were feeling the pull to go to him and mate. It was a week of bloody tears and all over body aches.

"We're so moving. Moving far away from where we can never be found by him." Sarin said harshly after the week was over.

"Well, you'll be going alone. I've placed several requests to have an audience with him."

"Do you really think you're going to get one. You're better off with getting an audience with the cat people."

"Even if that maybe I'm not giving up on getting him to see us or even just myself!" I walked off to tend to the garden alone and Sarin just laid in the bed swearing and crying.

Time-shifted again

"I knew you wouldn't see him. I knew him being here was a bad thing." Sarin was packing the house. We were fleeing but where would be gone when a law was passed.

"Can they really pass that law? We were born with them in our skin."

"They can and they did. They think we threaten their numbers of worshippers." Sarin said throwing me a bag. "Pack only what you can't live without."

"I hate this. I hate all of this." I said and did as I was told. It was then that I started to search for his mind to get him to notice Sarin and me...

Adrian shook me awake and pointed to the door. Carden was standing there in tears. Sarin was waking up as well.

"Your brothers lift this morning back to your parents and told them what happened between us all. They said they would take you away from me if that's what you choose. I said I'd do whatever you wished to do. I'd take you back if that's really what you want." Carden's eyes gave way to more tears and he came to stand by my side.

"I'll stay. I forgive you now, I got what I wanted from you. The desperate need to be with me that if you didn't have Sarin or me, you'd die feeling. Now that you know that feeling learns to control that anger of yours so you don't kill me. You've already broken me." I motioned for Adrian to help me up to get dressed. Sarin got me ready as Carden soaked in what I'd said.

"Why didn't you just say that then?"

"Do you think me just telling you to feel that way would fully teach you the meaning of controlling your anger. To control yourself to have me live. In all rights, I should've died at your hands." The three of us had gone to the bathroom to change me the safest way possible.

"I see your point I'm glad you let me learn it myself," Carden said in the doorway of the bathroom. He whipped the tears away and left the room.

"Are you sure you want to stay Blair-Boo we could always run away together." Sarin said smiling down as he helped me up.

"I'm sure I want to stay. This is where I'm going to learn all about this Carden." I walked out of the room and was almost trampled by a man.

"Hi there little lady." He patted my head and moved around me running off down the hall and around the left corner.

Soon another man came running down the hall almost trampling on me too Adrian pulled me against the wall. The man skidded to the stop and backed up to asked where the other man went I pointed to the right. Hey, I needed a laugh, Sarin will probably have the scoop on them by tonight. He went running off to the right.

We went to the sunroom and I read. Adrian opened a window. The man I had seen first climbed through it and laid under the coffee table. I gave him a smile as he peeked out his index finger to his lips.

The second man ran through the front door and straight on to the rest of the house. Sarin brought me the soup. Adrian feed me just as slowly as he had before. I was feeling good today. The man under the table popped out. I pulled the man up faster than I thought was possible in my state because I saw Sarin was about to kick him in the face.

"Sarin what the fuck?" I gave him the glaring eyes and the man started to help me sit back on the couch. A wave of weakness went through my body.

"Well, I thought he was going to attack you?" Sarin said shrugging his shoulder, "Besides that who are you even?"

"You okay little lady?" I gave a nod he looked to Sarin, "I'm Trax. Blake and that other guys little half brother."

"Carden's half brother? Well, this is Blair-Boo and I'm Sarin was his beloveds."

I gave him a wave. "Ask him who the man is chasing him?" Sarin laughed as Carden came into the room with the other man.

"So this is where you've been Trax. Where are you put the moves on my beloveds?" Trax gave a laugh and shook his head.

"No, I was trying to avoid your stupid bodyguard assigned to me. I don't need one. This is why I don't come to visit as much as you'd like." Trax double checked that I was sitting okay and release me getting up off the floor. The wave intensified as I throwing up in Sarin's bowl. Adrian held me up.

Carden forgot all about his half brother and took the spot where Trax was before. "Go get the doc," the other man went running "What has she done today?" Carden asked the two of them.

"Woke up, dressed, almost got trampled by the two of them running around, came here to read, Sarin brought the soup, I feed her. Trax had been under the table before Sarin came in with the food and when he popped out she grabbed Trax out of the way before Sarin could kick him in the face." Adrian told Sarin wich told Cardin. I was still throwing up that I was now puking up into my bowl.

The doc came and took a sample of the puke and ran some tests before he whispered the results to Carden. Carden seemed to not understand but as he worked through whatever he was told his eyes widened. He turned and had Trax in a chock hold.

"You did what to her!" It came out of him as an eerie growl of words.

"I don't know what you mean?" Trax said holding Carden's arms. The butler doctor put my neck into a head brace.

Carden looked at me and then to his brother he dropped him and then ripped off the guard's head. Blood splattering all over the two of them.

"I still don't understand what I did," Trax said rubbing his throat.

"You touched her not only the once to steady her but you patted her head! Your mutt self is all over her! Sarin and she are in-betweens!" Carden dropped the head. He clutched his hands into a fist and was gone in a blink of an eye. Trax looked between the both of us and then to his half brother as he walked off.

I looked at Adrian for an explanation. "Trax is a hybrid of werewolf and vampire."

"Don't move too much and you should be fine." The doc said, "The brace can come off tomorrow night." He left.

"I'm so sorry Blair-Boo" Trax was crying in a heap on the floor. His smiling demeanor was gone. Blake came into view, "Let's get you cleaned up Trax. Blair-Boo is going to need her rest." She gave me a wary smile as Trax went off with her to her room. Adrian picked me up slowly and we went to our room.

 I was asleep so fast.

My wolf is strong, like Trax and Fallon though that is different because he is a hybrid. They sometimes get it easier, they have more choice. My mom gave me two names when I was born. Damina for the human and Gloria for the wolf that was always on display for the world. My father was the same way, teeth, eyes, and ears. They were in his wolf form.
