Seraphina POV

I woke up the next morning with a lump in my throat, a pit in my stomach and a feeling of foreboding. Today was the today that I was going to die. There was no way that I would accept the mate bond from Allister.

But I wasn’t the only one affected in this situation. I had my baby to think about. I held onto my stomach and began to cry.

I had no idea what to do. I already had lost one child. Could I really allow myself to be so selfish and let my unborn child go through this as well? I had to make a decision, only I wasn’t sure I was going to be happy with the decision that I needed to make.

Shortly after the tears stopped falling, a group of women came into the room and ushered me to get up and was taken to Reaper’s cabin.
