Callan POV

I walked into the ballroom for the gala and took in to the grandiose decor. Servers in black suits scurried around the room with trays of every kind of food you could imagine. In the far corner, a live band played soft jazz music that only added to the luxurious atmosphere.

This was by far one of the fanciest galas that I had ever been to. And I had been to a lot of them.

‘What’s up with the over the top party?’ Drake mindlinked me, as if reading my thoughts verbatim.

‘Something isn’t right.’ I responded through our link.

‘Princess, everything good over there?’ I mindlinked Sera. Something about this event seemed off and I couldn’t pin point what it was besides the obvious.

Typically these events were catered, but they never had staff in fancy uniforms, and certainly did not overly decorate with crystal chandeliers and extravagant floral center pieces.

‘Yeah, why? What’s wrong?’ Sera responded almost immediately.

‘Nothing is wrong, just wanted to check in on my beaut

Callan POVChaos. Utter Chaos happened before my eyes as all of the men jumped up from the table and began to shift into their wolves. I however took in the scene. Something didn’t sit right with me. This is what Allister wanted. This was how he wanted everyone to react. Drake stood in a defensive stance ready to attack at a moment’s notice. I watched as if in slow motion Allister partially shift. His nails turning into sharp claws that were as sharp as knives accompanied by razor sharp canines. And those eyes. Black bottomless pit eyes. They sent a shiver down my spine. Alpha Allari was the first to attack, which didn’t surprise me. He had always been a hot head and Alpha John had been a friend of his. Allari’s wolf leaped into the air towards Allister but with a swipe of Allister’s claws, Allari was down on the ground unmoving with a gaping wound that was bleeding out from his neck. ‘Get Sera and Maeve in the panic room now!’ I boomed through the mindlink to Rodney. I knew whatev

Seraphina POVI ran as fast as I could up the stairs into my bedroom to grab something I could defend myself with since I was too far into my pregnancy to shift. I knew Lyla or Allister wouldn’t be far behind. I needed to act fast. Rodney and Hank stayed back stopping anything that may get by, Maeve had already started running towards the panic room before I had started ascending the stairs. I burst into my room. The door making a loud bang on the wall as it crashed onto it. Just as I grabbed what I needed and tucked it into my pocket I heard a girlish chuckle behind me. “Well, look who’s cornered,” the undeniable sound of Lyla’s voice, said through a sneer. I turned to see Lyla partially shifted into her wolf with extended claws and elongated canines. Her eyes were wild with anger. I knew why she was here. She was here to kill me. It didn’t take a rocket scientist to figure that one out. I took a defensive stance, one that partially protected my growing stomach from my enemy. Lyl

Seraphina POV I gasped for air while my limbs hand tingles shooting up them. I used all the strengh within me to get up just as Lyla was about to stomp on my face. “Ugh, stay on the fucking ground!” Lyla yelled. It was comical how awful at fighting Lyla was at fighting. No wonder why the pack hadn’t taken her seriously as Luna material. She didn’t have what was needed in a Luna. I felt my stomach begin to cramp, a warning to signal that I needed to stop what I was doing. But I needed to survive. Not only for myself, but for my mate, my baby, and our pack. I wouldn’t die at the hands of someone who was so entranced by power that they lacked the general respect for others. Instead I was dealing with a sociopathatic, narrsasist who only wanted to see themselves at the top at the expense of anyone in their way. I grabbed the wolfsbane infused blade and tucked it into my sleeve before going into a defensive stance. This time I was the one who charged and threw a punch hitting Lyla in

Callan POVI stormed through the gaping hole that was once the front door of the packhouse. My chest heaving from exertion. In front of me was a blood bath. At the base of the stairs Rodney had his hands placed on Hank’s stomach. Upon closer inspection, I noticed Hank’s intestines seeping out between their fingers. Staff lay bloodied, some deceased on the floor in the foyer. It was a bloody mess. I was one of the few people that knew that Rodney and Hank were mates. The pain in Rodney’s eyes as he met mine, were devastating. These were two of the strongest men that I knew besides Drake. Seeing one of them down was one of the hardest things. But I had a more important matter. My mate.‘Made it to the panic room. Maeve is here safe. Shaken up but safe. No Luna.’ His words pierced me through the heart. As I tried to send a mind link our connection had some sort of interference. Somehow I knew she was still alive. It were as if I could still feel the tether that bonded us together, howe

Seraphina POVBEEP. BEEP. BEEP. BEEP. I woke up to the sounds of a beeping sound in the distance and the smell of antiseptic. Murmurs and whispers could be heard all around me. But for some reason my eyes couldn’t focus. The damn lght above me was too damn bright. As if someone was reading my mind, the light turned off, allowing a sigh of relief escape me. For moment I had forgotten what had happened. I had forgotten why I would be smelling the distinct smell of a hospital, blood, and death. As my eyes got used to the darkness I was able to see I was in a large medical room that was defifinetly not in my pack. The walls had faded wall paper that was ripped in areas and the equipment in the room looked to be at least 20 years old. Certainly over due for some upgrades. “Where am I?” I croaked out? My hands instinctively went to my stomach, checking on my baby girl. My thoughts then went to my Liam. He had been at friend’s house for the weekend. Thank the Goddess he hadn’t been home w

Seraphina POV I tried to move, but every time I did the stabbing pain in my spine only got worse. That’s when I realized that I couldn’t feel my legs. My hand trembled as I reached behind me to feel a plastic tube that led to my back which was attached to something that was covered by medical tape on my back. Realization dawned on me, and the shiver that ran down my spine shocked me that it didn’t hurt as it traveled through my body. That fucker had them put an epidural in me so I couldn’t move. He was keeping me drugged and lucid so I wouldn’t be able to fight him off. Rage burned through my veins. On one hand, I was truly thankful that my baby girl was okay, but on the other hand, I was fuming that this was my life. We couldn’t catch a break. Especially during this pregnancy. Was it too much to ask to just be a stereotypical werewolf momma-to-be who was spending their days looking on Pinterest, designing her dream nursery that had 17 boards with all different aesthetics? Then ig

  • Led to You: The Alpha’s Angel   Chapter 132: Seraphina

Seraphina POVI needed to think quickly. Especially now that I knew Allister was aware that I knew that he had blocked my bond and he was playing some sick game. I tried my damndest to move my body but realized that all my efforts were just exhausting me more and putting me in a more vulnerable position. Then an idea came to me and I knew what I had to do. As if I flipped a switch, I looked at Allister adoringly and said, “Allister, baby, can you please tell them to take this needle out of my back? It’s really hurting. I promise I will listen to the doctors instructions.” I gave him the a slight pout and widened my eyes like dogs did when they were sad. Allister bounced off the wall and came over to me with a sly smile, as if he were in on a secret that no one else in the room knew. Thats when I noticed it, a small trickle of a black substance coming out of his nose. The doctor cleared his throat, noticing the black substance. “Your grace, I’ll go get Dr. Clark for you,” he handed

  • Led to You: The Alpha’s Angel   Chapter 133: Callan

Callan POV I paced the auditorium stage where we held the pack meetings and felt my rage begin to overwhelm me. Archer was itching to get out and was clawing at the wall that separated us. I ran my fingers through my hair for the umteenth time. I was going crazy without my mate. It had been three days now since she had been gone. Allister had done an excellent job at covering his tracks. We always seemed to be one step behind him. How the fuck he was managing that, I had no fucking idea. I had some of the best trackers in the region on Andrew, Rodney, a nearly healed Hank, and Drake all sat at the chairs before the stage waiting for the next order. “Alpha, you know what packs are calling Allister right?”I had heard the murmurs. They were calling him the Lycan King. Which only would cause problems. I nodded my head. “You know what that means, Alpha.” Hank added. I nodded once more. “But if memory serves me correct from our lore, in order to be deemed king, he would need to have a

Suddenly my heart began to race not just from the crowd cheering, but from the pull I felt towards her. I didn’t realize I had taken a step toward her until I was only a few feet away. She was in a simple yellow sungress with her blond hair in a loose fitting knot. She was the epitome of perfection. The beauty before me had the greenest eyes I had ever seen and seemed to captivate me in a way that was indescribable. She visibly gulped as stood in front of her before she slightly bowed. “Congratulations, Alpha. It’s an honor to meet you.” she stammered. ‘Mate,’ my wolf Narif yelled in my head. I gave her a warm smile. I loved how her pale cheeks reddened as she spoke. “Thank you, it’s nice to meet you. I didn’t catch your name,” I said, my voice low as I tried to hide the breathlessness I felt at being so close to her.“Sophie,” she replied softly, her eyes sparkling with an unspoken understanding. “But everyone calls me Soph.”“Soph,” I repeated, savoring the sound as it rolled o

LIAM POV I slammed into the red head, who was on all fours before me. I had forgotten her name already. I had met her earlier in the day at my best friend Trevor’s house while we were all lounging around the pool. She was cute and had no problem with coming home with me in the middle of the day, before the alpha ceremony. Today my chosen father would pass the pack to me, making me the new Alpha. I had too many feelings about it, leading to what I did best. Pushing my feelings aside and got lost into something else or someone else. I heard a light knock before I heard my mother’s curse.Damnit mom! “Mom, get out!” I yelled while continuing to pump into the red head. She attempted to stop but I let out a threatening growl, letting her know that I was no where finished with her. I heard my mom bump her head on the door frame, making me roll my eyes. She reminded me of Jess from New Girl, with how clumsy she was. ‘Mom just walked in on me having a girl over.’ I sent a mind link to my

Seraphina POV Callan and I had decided to make the house near the waterfall our getaway home when we needed it. We arrived at our home for the next couple of days. It was a modernized one floor flat that looked over a gorgeous waterfall. “Tell me again why we can’t use this place as the pack house?” I asked the umteenth time to Callan as I looked at the waterfall through the floor to ceiling length windows. Everytime I came to this place it made me feel like I was in another world with its modern and exotic architecture. I looked at the floor to ceiling length windows and watched as the water cascaded down the smooth rocks. Everytime we came here I always asked Callan the same question. He put our bags down and walked over to me and wrapped his arms around my waist. “Because we need to be closer to everyone, you know this.” He nipped at my mark, making me giggle. My mind went back to the first time I had come to this place. When a scream had left my lips as I made contact with

Seraphina POV Maeve rounded the corner and whacked Callan on the back of the head. “Hush, let the girl bring what she wants,” she scolded. It was so nice seeing her back to her almost normal self again. My brows knitted together when I noticed the visible sweat on her brow. “You okay Maeve?” She waved a hand in front of her face. “Yeah, jeeze, who turned up the heat in here,” I looked at the thermostat that hung on the wall and read sistythree degrees. I would hardly call that hot. I sniffed the air and noticed that her scent seemed stronger today as well. Callan’s nostrils flared before I saw drake running down the staircase and swooping his bride up. She cackled as he booked it up the stairs. “Sorry guys! Baby making time!” Drake called from the top of the stairs. I looked at Callan with a smile. “Guess we know what they will be doing while we are gone.” Callan chuckled before wrapping an arm around my shoulders. “Let’s get out of here before we have to put ear plugs in.”Mae

I watched the boys with a deadpan expression as they tried to figure out how to take off a dirty diaper and put a new one on. “Don’t worry mum, we got it.” Liam had told me. “Just sit back and relax.”How they expected me to do so when they looked like they were attempting some sort of science experiment on my daughter was beyond me. I went to push up from the rocking chair where I was seated when Callan spoke. “We got this babe, don’t stress.” I took in a breath. ‘They can do this, they can do this.’ I said to myself. ‘You sure about that?’ Alya my wolf chided back. It wasn’t until I heard the sound of a splat and a gasp from Liam did I finally decide I was done watching this shit show. Literally. There was shit filled diaper on top of Callan’s foot. Liam looked at Callan in horror and then disgust. A smile spread on our girl’s face at my boy incompetence to change a diaper. I stood up and marched over to a stunned looking Callan and Liam. Liam moved out of the way. “You k

You keep looking at my dick like that, we won’t be able to take a relaxing bath together,” he teased. I stuck out my tongue at him like a child, earning me a laugh from Callan. He climbed in behind me, the water sloshing over the edge at the movement. He wrapped his arms around me and pressed a kiss on my shoulder. I sank into his embrace, loving the rare intimate moment we were now sharing. It felt like so much had happened in such a short amount of time, that we had missed out on opportunities such as this. We sat in silence, simply enjoying the moment with one another. However I couldn’t help but think about Liam’s situation and about his family. For the first time since I had lost the baby, my heart and head were on the same page. I snuggled up to Callan and rested my head on his shoulder. Tingles ignited where we touched, further soothing my racing thoughts. “What’s on your mind, Princess?” Callan asked as he pressed a kiss on the top of my head. “What will happen to Liam?”

Seraphina POV 6 Years Later….“Ugh harder!” I heard a female voice cry out. Whoever she was, she was getting the pounding of her life by the sounds coming from down the hall. A blush crept over my cheeks and chest as I thought about what must be happening in the room. As I continued to walk down the hallway to find Liam for the Alpha Ceremony. I quickened my pace in an attempt to give the couple more privacy. However, as I got closer to Liam’s room, I noticed the woman’s voice get louder. As I approached my door, a thumping sound accompanied by the soft moans of a female was emanating from his bedroom! Dejavu slammed into me as I remembered the day that I caught Allister in my room with Lyla. My hand shook as I grabbed the vintage gold knob. I knocked on the door while opening the door and instantly regretted it. Slowly I opened the door and gasped at the sight before me. It took a few moments for me to register what was going on. Before me was Liam pounding into a beautiful red h

Seraphina POV5 Months later….I walked next to Maeve in the department store as we looked over the racks of baby clothes. After finally receiving permission from Doctor Desmond that some walking could help induce labor. Our babygirl was finally cooked. It was time for us to meet her. Only now that it was time, she was taking her sweet time and enjoying the comfort and protection that my body provided. I couldn’t blame her after everything that we had gone through together. Our girl was a trooper through it all. I felt a tinge of pain in my lower back and some pressure in my lower abdomen. The pain stopping me in my tracks for a moment. Maeve looked at me with concern. “You alright babe?”I held on top of the rack and continued to take deep breaths. “Ugh, yeah. Just Braxton Hicks,” I grumbled. After a moment we continued to look through the racks of clothes. Maeve and Drake were having a baby boy, and I couldn’t help but be envious of how much Maeve was glowing. I looked like a g

Mia POVI circled the chair that bound the man who haunted all of my dreams and almost every waking moment. The only time I didn’t think about what this man had put me through, was when I was with my son, my grandson, and daught-in-law. They seemed to drown out the voices and images in my head that wanted me to relive the horrible days during my captivity. “Please Mia, I love you.” Kevin pleaded with me. Tears, snot, and blood all congeled together on his handsome face. His blood red eyes were now constantly out as his wolf tried to heal the wounds that I kept inflicting. We were on day three of me torturing him and using toys on him that he had used on me. I refused to be the victim any longer. My daughter attempted to punish him, but didn’t have the stomach for it. I just prayed that she too would find some peace knowing that this pieace of shit would no longer be around to hurt us. She had come back down today for some reason. Maybe for closure? I couldn’t be certain. “You don’t
