Chapter 12 The new side of Vivian

George’s POV

I toss the phone away, my face contorting with irritation. I immediately hate her when I hear her voice take on a coquettish tone, a stark contrast to her usual demeanor. It catches me off guard. This playful side of her is unfamiliar to me.

I feel a surge of annoyance at her playful tone, but deep down, a part of me wants to see her right away, to understand why she is acting this way. I can't deny the curiosity that has sparked within me.

I want to unravel the mystery behind her sudden change in behavior, even if it means confronting her with frustration.

As I glance at the manager, who has recently been the target of my anger, I notice a shift in my mood. The irritation that had consumed me moments ago seems to have dissipated, replaced by a newfound sense of contentment.

Vivian's coquettish voice has left its mark, soothing my frayed emotions and transforming my outlook on the situation.
