Ava saw stars of different colours and shades, the sound of the hot slap still echoing in her ear seconds later. Her mouth hung open in surprise as she stared at Sarah. Serene music permeated the atmosphere, joyful sounds echoed in response from within Ava. Flowery scents competed with one another as Ava picked out smells of roses and lilac, among others.
