CHAPTER 2: CRUCIAL INVESTAGATION

Mio's POV:

"Nek Tuffin the brother of Zak D' is the real k*ller Mio, he gave up along time ago." 

He said as if he was making me look like he defeated me. I know he surrendered but from the records, every suspect has a secret maybe they just want the wealth or the justice. And I don't give a d*mn, it's not a contest. I turned around and looked at the second suspect, my cousin Loid

"Don't go this far Mio because it's over and I'm the one who ended the case." 

With a heroic tone he had, Nathan is a j*rk. He thought he knew everything because he was Kuya Zak's lawyer and the case was over. But, no because the truth is there's a last will that Kuya Zak left before he died and I will continue this case for the justice, I will handle and finish it towards the truth.

"Sh*t up Nathan, I will finish Kuya Zak's case." I said. 

"Excuses, Attorney Mio but I'm his lawyer and the case already dismissed a year ago. The name Nek Tuffin is the suspect of this case." 

There is an irritation in his face, I looked at Nathan and then rolled my eyes.

"You are now done being a lawyer with Kuya Zak and I have a permission to do this so step back, this case? It's just getting started." I replied. 

He looked at me with a frown but he couldn't do anything because I was the one handling Kuya Zak's case. I took a seat and the interrogator started recording, this is the beginning to know the truth behind this case to know who is the real k*ller.

"We're looking into that murderer for the record, are you speaking to me voluntarily?" He said. 

While Loid smiled widely before answering that question.

"Hmm... Yes." 

And the whole interrogation that annoying smile of him won't vanish.

Loid Tuffin POV:

Year 1974, The Past. 

"Zaki D' Duwag, My beloved cousin." 

I shouted here while helping Benjamin and Frank beat up Zak, right-winger. He is one of my best friends and a cousin named Zaki D', but not until he destroyed my life. I always saved him and fought him but when I needed help he never showed up and I even broke up with my family because of him.

"S-stop this already Loid, you weren't like this when they were brainwashing you!" He said, writhing in pain haha! That's what I liked! Seeing you suffering isn't over yet, there's more Zak!

I want you to d*e Zak, little by little I will kill you with pain." I replied and then the tortur*d began, I will never regret this! My own family discarded me because I was the bad one in their eyes. Since then We almost k*lled each other at the Tuffin Family party. I looked at Zak and I see that he's not sorry for what happened dang it! Like his teasing me.

"This tort*re is too boring."

He replied with a little laugh even though he was in pain from what I was doing to him, C*rse this man!

"Sh*t up! I want you to suffer! I will never forget the day they fought you because you were right, while me? The one who suffered! You humiliated me and threw away my own family because of you. Now fight for yourself because now I'm not your savior, I'm your worst enemy." I burst my anger towards him, I shoot a gun to his body. It went away, while I'm starring to a cold eye's of him. I can also see in him his anger towards me but he never fightback for his life, Damn it! He showed to me that smile again, that annoying smile of him won't vanish.

"Are you going to cry right now, Loid?" He replied, That answer of him it makes me want him to die all over again.

Year 1982 the future. 

"I admit that I have a grudge against him and we had an argument along time ago." I said calmly while tapping my fingers to the table.

"And, I'm not the one who k*lled him? Because?! That j*rk won't d*e! And also how can I k*ll my best friend, cousin?" I replied, Yes because he escaped from my hands before, F*ck him!

"Right. Okay. there some reason, surveillance camera footage show you walked pass out of nowhere putting on a ski mask that time where Zaki D' got killed." The Detective said with a serious tone. 

"Maybe, We just have the same face. I mean, because! lots of guys look like me, see?" I replied and suddenly my cousin Mio, this woman, interrupted our conversation! She continued the case.

"So, you could have been there Loid?" She said, making me cringe. She was really forcing me to confess that I didn't do it!

"No. I mean- just what I said that it's possible that I have the same face, Detective and I'm in the Philippines at that time?"

"Alright, I can't ask you anything now. I think, but we're not done yet." The Detective replied, he stood up and left the interrogation room. Me and this woman Mio are still in this room

She stared at me and judge me for a minute then her question make me feel alive. 

"You know the last will of Zaki D'? Do you? That's why you're here? " She asked me with a calm tone and a serious eye's. 

"Nah... What-" I replied but it suddenly hit me... I'm so curious right now. 

"Okay, thaks for the time." 

She replied and stood up quickly left me hanging! G*dd*mmit! 

"Wait! Mio! What 'bout the last will?! What's up with that? Mio!" I shouted but she's already gone, f*ck you Mio. This lady makes me sick, I'm sick of this, what's wrong with your last will Zaki D'.

"Officers! Get me out of here! For G*d sake!" I shouted a couple of times and suddenly someone turned the door and entered the interrogation room the light went off again. Then I see a figure of a man, I also sense that I know him but I don't think saw? He walked towards me and sat in front of me.

"Untie me and let me out of this room, don't sit there!" 

I shouted with anger but he still didn't move looking at me directly, He wears black shades and is also in a black suit and has a scar on his right cheek d*ng! And it's like it's even richer compared to me but I need an officer to let me go out of this room right now, not an actor or whoever a Men and black.

I glared at him and I felt like I know this guy, like we've met before.

"Sh*t up." 

He said and took a deep breath, curse this man!

"Did you hear what I said?! And if you can't let me out, can you? Get out of my presence, I can't give you any info and I'm not the one who killed Zaki D'." I said with a glare, I stood up and walked to the door of this room. I saw a cctv and gave them a middle fingers.

"You looked like a child, Stop yelling" He said with a serious statement and a little laugh. I go back to my seat with a moment of silence.

"I know you can sense that you known me somewhere, I'm I right?"

He calmly said that to me, I immediately looked and wondered why he was saying this to me? I frowned now but I didn't move because maybe he just wants to investigate me like the others do.

"You know? It's just the two of us in this room and also no one is watching us through that mirror, also the cctv." He said and pointed to the mirror on our side and also the cctv camera. The next thing he said to me brought the life back to life. my blood again

"Ts, you always like that even though several years have passed, Also you can escape now if you liked but I sense that you also wanted to know about the Zaki D' Last will?" He said.

Yes! I wanted to know about that because Mio is very strict and I'm curious about that.

" Tell me about the Last will of Zaki D', Men and black guy " I said but I just saw the little smile on his cheek that smile, I don't trust that smile. 

"Okay, First I'm not Men and Black I'm just an ordinary person who knows about this case because maybe I also wanted the wealth of him. Second the last will of Zaki D' is whoever can teach and say who killed him will be given a reward or if the person who killed him surrenders he will also be given but there's a consequence." He said and crossed his arms more seriously. this is now. Dang that's the last will of Zaki D'? And what's the reward?

"Then? What's the reward?" I said. 

"All of Zaki D's wealth, that's the reward." He replied. 

I'm shocked again for what I heard, What the fuck?! Because of Zaki D's wealth?! I also wanted his wealth before and now I can't make it difficult like damn! I'm the wealthiest of them all now I wish I would just give up and stop defending myself.

"The Consequences is for the person whom got the money or the wealth of Zaki D'." He said and stood up. 

I didn't ask about Consequences but hmm... Okay now I know. Now his walking away and it was about to go out the door, I was about to follow when it suddenly faced me.

"Where are you going?"He said. 

"Going out." sparing in response but this man just laughed at me.

"I gave you time to escape earlier but you didn't. No Loid you can't escape." He said. I smirked because I can escape on my own because he just said that we are the only two in this room. But? How did he know my name?!

I was about to speak when he suddenly grinned and removed his black shades and the light went back. Now I'm shocked for what I saw, I'm right after all! He's not dead yet! this man is immortal i think?!

"Curse you mother f*cker Zaki D'! You can't fool me!" I said I was about to punch when the light bulb in that room suddenly exploded. And the other light will turn off, I hear the laughed of Zaki D' and the last word he said.

"I can control everything Loid." 

Before I lost consciousness he finished punching me which put me to sleep at that time.

Now I opened my eyes and I'm in the hospital, I saw Mio and Nathan. I also see the police outside the door. I felt dizzy and confused and I was also remembered about Zaki D', What Zaki D'?! Isn't that a dream?!

"I saw him! Mio! Zaki D' Is still alive."

I said and got up like I was crazy in this situation but I saw in my eyes that it was him! I'm not mistaken! 

"He went to that room when you were gone and he said that he controlled everything! Don't be a fool Mio!" I added.

"Calm down Loid, you're the only one in that room. There's no one" Nathan said.

While he is sipping his coffee. They don't really believe me, I'm confused now. Shit, what's happening?!

"Kuya Zak is dead, Loid so there is an investigation. You were just dreaming" She said, While calming me down. I'm now a person who has mental illness if I continue this but no! I'm telling the truth.

"I'm not lying Mio! Checked the cctv footage now!" I said. 

I burst my anger right now. 

"It was seen on the cctv that you were the only one in that room, Loid" She said.

I can't move now looking into the void. How?! I'm with him! Did I just dream? Or maybe he's hunting me now even though he's dead. No! I know he is still alive and I will stand by that.

"Wake up Loid, you might end up going crazy." Nathan said and stood up out of this room. I glared at him Dang! Maybe he is in cahoots with Zaki D' because he was his lawyer before.

"I know you are in cahoots with him Nathan! You can't fool me!" I shouted and I could see the surprise in Mio's eyes. That's it Mio I hope you believe me, curse you Zak! Someday someone will kill you if it's true that you're not dead and that will be me!

I will find you and I'm going to win your game I'm just starting, your wealth someday will be mine.
