Chapter 52

Hours turned to days. Andreas would go to the door multiple times everyday, and just talk, hoping that Eleanor would feel good enough to open the door, but it simply didn't happened. He'd gone around the house but she'd erected thick vines around the windows to block out sunlight and prying eyes. She hadn't eaten at thing but what worried him more, was that she hadn't spoken a word, not even mentally. The only thing that kept him going was the sound of her heartbeat that he could hear, thanks to his abilities. Sometimes, it would go faint but still, it was there. 

On the fourth day, he had began to think of breaking the door open ,when Anna came over and wanted to give it a try. After cajoling Andreas into leaving the house, she went to the shut door and began to talk. She stayed there for so long, she began to doze off on the floor.
