Andreas noticed a shift in Eleanor's mood. It had started after the cotton candy escapade. She wasn't as vibrant anymore and from the way Leo leaned in to speak in her ear with a frown on his face, he could tell that Leo noticed too. What could have caused it? He was looking for a way to get his arm out of Alexandra's hold but she wasn't letting up, as she continued pointing out things to him and randomly speaking. Eleanor took lazy step after lazy step, suddenly not feeling giddy anymore. Her mood had just deflated. Could it have been because of the cotton candy and--Nah... Or because of Alexandra and her animosity towards her? Could that have affected her mood? Whatever it was, she definitely didn't like it. She was still caught up in her head when a hand held hers and she turned. The guys walked ahead while Andreas stared down at Eleanor.
"What's wrong?"Her shoulders moodily rose and fell in a careless shrug, "Nothing."He sat on the forest floor. She frowned downAnthony extracted the energy his feelings passed out, turned it, and channeled it at him. The demon screamed so loud, Eleanor's ears began to ache."Stop," Will's voice weakly pleaded. "Please stop. I beg you, stop."Anthony stopped, "Push him forward.""I don't know how." Will sobbed."Then we're going to have to do it for you." Alexandra said, stepped up and spouted raw fire. Eleanor couldn't believe it. Wait-fire?! Will's eyes widened."Stop!" Eleanor yelled but Alexandra focused the fire on Will. Anna looked away as Will's skin sizzled. His screams were of pure agony. Eleanor whipped around to face Andreas,"Stop her! Tell her to stop!"She turned back to face Alexandra, "I said stop!"Alexandra continued without a hitch. Unexplainable rage built up in Eleanor. She grit her teeth and angrily whipped around to face Andreas. She saw remorse cross his face but she didn't care. That just made her angrier. She turned back to Alexandra and out o
She gently cupped his cheeks,"Liam?"His eyes kept fluttering but his gaze finally focused on hers,"Thank you.""I am so sorry."He slowly shook his head and rose a shaky hand to hold hers, "You didn't know.""He made you carve into yourself." she said in anguish. That image won't leave her for a long time.He managed to look down at his body and a frown coated his brows as he found that his body was completely void of scratches, then he looked at her,"What is going on?"She inhaled deeply, "I'll tell you later, right now, you need to rest."Leo and Anna approached them and began to help her raise his weak body. They had managed to get his arms around their shoulders when fire shot at Eleanor's feet, blocking her path. Her eyes darted to Alexandra,"What is this?""Explain yourself." she demanded.Everyone else was confused, including Eleanor who was that, and getting angrier by the minute."Excuse me?""E
Andreas felt her body accept the air, only to give it back once he pulled away. The only reason he kept trying vigorously, was because that little spark kept breaking through the haze to meet him. Anna came rushing out with a small wooden bowl and Andreas positioned Eleanor's mouth but it kept pouring out. Anna tried massaging her throat and only a little got in but the rest poured out."Louise, i don't know the cure for wolfsbane." Anna admitted somberly. "Her body isn't taking this one in, I don't know-""Her body recognises me." He spoke up, not taking his eyes off Eleanor's face. "What if my blood is added?"The room went deadly silent."Andreas, you can't do that."He heard Alexandra's voice and had to make a quick decision between staying with Eleanor or lunging for her. He inhaled deeply, ignoring her."Anna?""We-well, uh... With you being her man and being who and what you are, that would definitely help her a lot, but she doesn't know you
Knowing she was being followed, Eleanor whipped around and found Andreas. Exactly the man she wanted to see. She smiled up at him."Question and answer time."He knew it was coming."Tell me why she almost killed Liam and you did nothing about it."He slowly exhaled, trying to tread with caution."We didn't know that there was a way to get the demon out, without Will getting killed afterwards.""Who's we?" She crossed her arms."Anthony, Nick, Leo, Alexandra, and I.""Okay. So, you didn't know there was a way. Did you know that whatever you were doing to him, even if he was going to die afterwards, was causing him an extremely painful death?"Andreas' sigh answered for him."Yes.""And you still did it?""Yes.""Why?""We needed to get the demon to come out.""So, in other words, if Alexandra had burned him to death, you would have just gone with it?"He opened his mouth, shut it and opened it again,
After reluctantly getting off the tree, Andreas insisted on going over to hers, instead of his. While they walked, Eleanor asked,"Why didn't my powers recognise yours when others did?"He looked down at her, "When?""When Alexandra was bleeding and the guys were looking uncomfortable. Their powers were recognizing yours, right?"He chuckled, "You can say that.""So?""Hm?""Why didn't mine recognize yours then too?""Because your powers weren't supposed to recognize mine then."Her face scrunched up in confusion, "Why not?""I didn't want it to."His hand casually slipped into hers."You wanted it later?"He exhaled, "Bella, i was punishing Alexandra."Her eyes zoomed around in thought, "The aura thing Anthony spoke about?"He nodded."Why? What did she do?"He looked down at her. The curiosity etched onto her face made a gentle smile bloom on his,"She was being rude to you. I meant it when i
After giving her nod of approval, training began."How do you feel when you use your powers?"Eleanor shrugged."How did you feel when you zapped Alexandra?""Uh.... Vengeful."Leo snickered, "I know, but did it feel hard?""To zap her? Nope. It felt good."Alexandra sneered and Eleanor winked at her. Andreas barely managed to hold a smile back."Did you feel like you had to try, somehow, to draw out electricity? Or, it felt normal?""At that point.... I wasn't thinking. I guess it felt normal... I don't know."Leo nodded, "For you to use it without thinking, and be able to direct it however you wish, it shows that you have some form of control. Now, that control, I have over the energy I get from the earth. The earth is a life source and the energy it produces, is more diverse than shampoo products. I don't just get what I want, I have to filter through, gather, then use. In my filtering, I get to understand her messages. You don't
It was 6:36pm. Evening had fallen. They were all in Andreas' living room, when the stone appeared out of nowhere. She was kind of, sort of used to it...... okay, maybe she wasn't used to it, but she was more unused to it's glow. Why was it glowing. She looked up at Anna in question."There's a message, child."Eleanor looked back at the stone, "From the stone?"Anna shrugged, "Why don't you find out. Ask it."Everyone was looking at her. How does she ask it again?"Uh.... Hello?"The glowing continued."Klitanis?"'Hello, Eleanor. Lovely to speak with you again.'Deciding to try out the head/mind speaking thing, she took a deep breath and tried sending her thoughts.'Can you hear me?'Andreas and Leo looked at each other before looking back at her and nodding.'My my. You have learnt how to mind connect. Well-done, Eleanor!' She heard Klitanis' voice. She smiled,'Thank you. How are you in there?''It's actu
Eleanor took in a deep breath... Then let it out and allowed her eyelids lift. Her eyes slowly took in the sunbathed room and a small smile formed. How lovely. Everything seemed so peaceful. Like a hammock set up on beach, with the soft breeze kissing your skin, while the seagulls called. It just felt so... So nice, y'know? The prefect combination of hot and cold. Her pillow seemed to agree as it went uuup and dooown and uuup and doown. She softly giggled. The giggling continued, till her mind went all 'Hey sun bather, pillows don't move, do they?' ugh! Way to spoil the fun. She blinked and noticed the neat dullness of the room. With a slight brow raise, she slowly looked up and met a calm, childlike expression, painted onto Andreas' face as he slept. She couldn't stop herself from staring. The man was a body of contrasts. His face was the epitome of calm and peace, but his body exclaimed dangerous strength and brutality. And his body heat? That washed off him in waves. He was very
