The next morning, Arlo woke up early and prepared to head out for work, leaving Lune still curled under the covers. He kissed her gently on the forehead, whispering a soft goodbye before slipping out of the room. The house felt peaceful, the calm before the storm of all the plans and events ahead of them.

Later in the day, as Lune was lounging in the living room, she received a call from Arlo's secretary, Cassie. The phone rang a few times before she picked it up, her voice hesitant.

“Hello?” Lune answered.

“Good morning, Mrs. Lune,” Cassie’s cheerful voice came through. “This is Cassie, Mr. Arlo’s secretary. He asked me to let you know that everything has been prepared for your enrollment at the university. You can start your classes whenever you feel ready.”
