Ann pov

As soon as the door closed to the floor, she slammed the door, then headed to the bar immediately to drink something. What she needed was etching heavy to wash away the insult that she received today.

That stupid girl who thought that she was Luna was trying her patience and was making all the wives of the high-ranking members look at her like the next big thing, wanting to get in her favor.

I grabbed a glass, then poured a good amount of vodka and drank it all in one gulp. Then I decided to drink from the bottle; drinking from the glass was exhausting.

"Luna, I am done with dinner. Should I dish it out? Or will you wait for Peter?"

I looked at the maid. She looked new, and I was sure that she was new because an old maid knew not to disturb me when I was in one of my moods.

"What did you make?"

"Rice and chicken soup, steak, and some fruit salad, ma'am."

Did she just call me ma'am? I am Luna, not that stupid girl.
