Chapter 121

Melvin's POV

I raised my hand as we passed the barrier, signaling to my troop that the Uncharted land was just a few feet away from us.

Our journey began a few days ago but at this point, I knew the actual task was ahead of us.

I took the first step past the barrier letting my hand push through the forcefield that I knew sizzled before me.

It was invisible but I could feel it as it pulsed around the skin on my arm.

I was about to step through when I felt a burning sensation push through my body waking my wolf.

Something was wrong.

I pulled my hand back immediately and glared at the invisible film in front of me.

There were a lot of things behind the barrier. A lot that creatures like me and my troop were not supposed to indulge in.

My mother had advised that we stay true to our course and that we should stay vigilant because the uncharted lands had their own rules.

My eyes strained as I looked at the barren land ahead. Anything could be waiting for us just behind this film...
