"No, no, no! "You have to wake up, son!" I shrieked loudly, not minding being naked with tears pooling in my eyes before coursing down my cheek.

I carried my head with both hands and groaned profusely. This can't be happening to me. He is my only son,the only heir apparent I was blessed with.

I wobbly walked to where Valen was lying. Apparently, he is not dead. I pushed him several times, but he couldn't wake up.

"Valen Valen, please wake up. You promised to guide my son through your miserable life. "Why did you not die instead of my son?" I hit him hard as I questioned him; my nostrils flared as my breathing became noisy.

Looking back, I was more pissed to see that people had all gathered. One of the guards threw a garment on me, which I hurriedly slipped on without thanking him. At this moment, I don't care about what could be going on in their minds, even though they all made faces laced with astonishment.
