Elina's pov

The wind blew over my hair, the moon shone through the trees, and I could hear the distant sounds of woodland animals. My heart was pounding so rapidly that I thought it might miss a beat. It's not like I cared. I slowed down before checking my wrist watch; it was about 9 p.m. I arrived on time.

I got here on time. We left the pack house around 5 p.m. yesterday. I think I actually arrived earlier.

Looking over the opposite side of where I stay is a river. With all that is going on in my head right now, I think it will do me good to get under that water. I need to cool off from all the stress. My head wouldn't stop pounding. It has become normal for me. So I don't give a fuck about the migraine. I am pretty sure once I get into the damn water, it will fade away.
