Chapter 2.

CHRISTIANA'POV.

1 YEAR LATER.

"Let's turn up tonight." Chidera shouted as we took shots.

We were getting ready for graduation in two days, so Chidera invited Aishat, Temi and me to go to a club tonight. Since we were all free, we decided to have a fun night out.

"I swear she's going to get wasted." Temi giggled while Chidera took her fourth shot in a row.

Aishat was the one who wasn't drinking and in charge of making sure we were all ok and arrived home safely.

I hummed agreeing with her getting comfortable on the stool "Your dress is pretty." Temi complimented with a small smile.

"Thank you, your dress is pretty as well."

Temi and Aishat had been roommates in their first year, so they had developed a close friendship. As a result, when Aishat became friends with me and Chidera, Temi naturally became a part of our group as well. While Chidera and Temi got along well, I never really connected with Temi; something about her just gave me a strange vibe.

"Let's dance." Chidera pulled Temi and me onto the dance floor, with Aishat following behind us. We laughed and started dancing and singing loudly to Bella Shmurda ft Zlatan's Cash App.

The song changed to Burna Boy's On The Low, which was slower and more romantic. People began to sing and dance with more passion, their bodies pressed close together in the dimly lit club.

I started dancing until I felt someone grip my waist firmly from behind.I was about to snap but based on what I could see through the dim light, he seemed handsome.

My friends were also dancing with a few guys so I continued dancing until I turned around facing him.

He looked into my eyes removing a strand of my hair that was in my face. I was wearing a 16 inches black pixie curls wig installed by Chidera. I knew I looked good.

"What's your name?" His deep voice rang through my ear making me shiver.

"Christiana, you? "I answered loudly as they started playing Mafa Mafa by DMW, the whole club went crazy.

Before he could respond, Chidera dragged me to get a drink with her releasing me from the grip of the sexy stranger.

When we went to drink more,I turned around and the stranger was gone but I could still feel someone looking at me but couldn't see anyone.

We drank, danced and made videos even forced Aishat to drink. The last thing I remember was taking Hennessy which I doubt any of us bought.

Next Morning.

I opened my eyes and immediately closed it because of the light, my head was banging.

Why did we drink so much?

Opening my eyes I saw I was neither in my apartment nor Aishat's room.

Where the hell am I?

I started to panicking and looked around the small but spacious room. My gown was still on, but my hair was packed up.

"You are up." A man entered the room shirtless wearing only a pair of shorts. I looked at his bare chest then up at face.

He had a beautiful caramel skin with little beards and dark but dark-brown eyes . He was tall and muscular you could tell he works out.

How could a man be so handsome?

"Where am I? How did I get here? Who are you?" I asked getting scared.

I mean he was handsome and all that but who said he couldn't be a rapist or a kidnapper.

"Chill, we were dancing last night and----" He was cut off by his phone ringing. He sighed going to getting it.

I stood up, looking for my things. I gathered my bag and shoe then my phone. Using the location from my phone to know where I was, I quickly ordered a ride.

"Okay as I was saying----"

"I'm leaving already but before I leave I just want to ask if anything happened betweeen us?" I cut him off.

I don't feel sore or anything but I just have to make sure with the hope he would just say NO so I could just take my leave.

"Something like?" He folded his arms resting on the wall smirking.

"You know what I mean. "I responded quickly, irritated by the smirk on his handsome face.

He shrugged walking towards the door.

"This is the part where you say, 'oh, if anything happened you would have known.'" I said following behind him.

He turned around then bursted out laughing loudly. I looked at him with a straight face but before I could say anything else. The rider called me, I informed him that I'm on my way out.

"I am leaving now knowing nothing happened between us, Bye stranger." I informed him walking towards the door.

"Bye Tianaa." He said with a small smile and God,his smile had to be the most beautiful smile I have ever seen.

I stared at him for a split second then walk out the door without saying a word.

I'm so going to kill my friends!

"I swear in the middle of the club, I remember you whining and begging to go with that guy." Aishat said as I got into the apartment angry.

"I can't even agree because I have no idea. I don't remember anything." Chidera rubbed her temple softly and Temi agreed with her.

"But we are sorry, I shouldn't have let you nor should we all have been that drunk because something could have actually gone wrong. "Aishat apologized walking towards me with arms stretched for a hug.

"Yeah am sorry big time. I basically forced Aishat to drink even you. I will make it up to you okay? "Dera pouted hugging me.

I knew they wouldn't let anything happen to me we were just being very irresponsible last night.

I finally checked my phone seeing I had a ton of calls from Aishat, Chidera and Temi before I arrived and Jonathan as well. My mum had even called a few times so I called her back.

Me-Hello?

Mum❤️-How are you? I have been calling you all morning.

Me- I am fine ma, I was asleep just very tired with the convocation coming.

Mum❤️-okay, have you picked up your dress? Gotten the Make up artist and have you done your hair?

Me-Yes I have picked the dress, make up artist is Aishat and I am getting ready to go.

Mum❤️-Okay, I might not be able to come because Jasmine isn't feeling too well but call if you need anything and your dad will hopefully come.

Me-okay thank you ma.

Mum❤️-alright, bye.

She hung up afterwards, I exhaled going to freshen up and find something to eat. I was going to pick up my dress,make my hair and get my nails afterwards.

Sigh..What a morning.
