GIAI

I couldn't move.

I couldn't breathe.

I couldn't think.

I just stood there and stared at him like he was a piece of art that I was interested in.

He hadn't changed one bit. The blue eyes, the slick back hair, the mustache and beard that accentuated his look, everything didn't change.

He was always taller than me so of course, he was towering over me like a bouncer.

Never did I think that I would be meeting Javon this early. I had just returned to New York and the very same man I had left the country for had seen me just two weeks after I came into the country.

The ringing of the doorbell snapped the both of us out of our daydream.

“Giai-”

“Excuse me."

I pushed past him and walked out of the restaurant. Where was Evan when you needed him?

“Giai!”

Damn it, I needed to cross this street quickly. The cars didn't seem like they were going to stop anytime soon so I had to walk down the street even though that was not where I was supposed to be going.
