“Now get ready. We’re going to eat dinner.” Austin gently stroked Hazel’s hair, and the white man seemed quite happy with Hazel’s new title of “sugar daddy.” A girl who caught his attention.
“But Hazel has work to do as an uncle,” Hazel replied hesitantly. She can’t do whatever she wants. Her boss has always been excellent.
“Just get ready. I’ll take care of your permission. Remember, Uncle is your sugar daddy now!” Austin’s arrogant nature came out. The CEO of a large real estate company had a very elitist attitude. Austin was in vain because he was so capable that no one dared criticize his attitude.
“Alright, my sugar daddy!” Hazel put on her best smile as she immediately ran to the rainbow café. Hazel looked very excited.
Austin chuckled and said, “So cute.” Hazel’s enthusiasm made him feel the positive energy from the little girl. It had been a while since Austin had felt this happy. Ever since his loved one disappeared, his smile had vanished, too.
Following Hazel’s departure, Austin retrieved his phone from his pants pocket and promptly contacted someone who could resolve his daughter’s licensing issue. The 31-year-old man took action to address the problem.
Austin called his secretary right away.
“Lewis, please check out a café on Colored Street called Rainbow café. Is it offering us a partnership?” Austin, along with his assistant, got down to business. He didn’t want to linger because his little girl would arrive soon.
“Wait for my boss to check. There seems to be a boss; they proposed to sell 40% of their shares to our company. After my men checked, it turned out that the owner of the café needed money for his mother’s medical expenses. I think their offer is quite favourable.” Lewis replied while reading the data on his laptop. Lewis had just wanted to shower, but his boss’ call was more important than anything. Austin was a very strict boss, so none of his subordinates dared to neglect the tasks he gave. Moreover, Austin gave a salary that was not small for his associates.
“You take the cooperation, but on my behalf, and tell the owner that he should allow his employee named Hazel to take the day off.” Austin smiled at his personal assistant’s answer. After all, it wasn’t wrong to own shares where his little girl worked; if necessary, he would buy all the claims of the café so that he could give the café to her as a gift.
“Okay, boss.” Austin immediately turned off his cell phone; everything he had planned had gone smoothly. Now it was time to please his girl.
“Dad, why are you smiling at yourself? A pretty girl is passing by,” Hazel teased Austin, who was smiling to himself. The man was very charming when he smiled.
“When are you coming?” Austin was surprised because his girl was nearby.
“I was near you earlier, but you were just smiling to yourself,” Hazel replied casually. “Who did you smile at? Where’s the pretty girl?” Hazel teased her new sugar daddy again.
“There’s no girl prettier than you.” Austin realized Hazel was flirting with him, so he responded by being flirtatious while winking at her.
Hazel snapped, “Naughty uncle,” but was surprised when the man, almost as old as her mother, teased her. She believed Austin was too attractive to lure a woman into his charms.
“I started it,” Austin playfully tugged at Hazel’s nose. “Don’t mess around like that, let’s go, and your uncle will take you to see the beautiful sunset.”
“The place has to be pretty. Hazel doesn’t want to know!” Hazel showed her spoiled nature to Austin. The girl unconsciously showed the childish side she had been hiding because her mother disliked such traits.
“I promise.” Austin gently pulled Hazel’s hand. A white man led Hazel to his car.
“Please, my princess,” Austin said as he opened the car door for Hazel.
“Ah, Daddy is so sweet, see my sweet uncle has to take responsibility.” Hazel giggled after being treated so sweetly by the white man. So far, no one has been so kind to her. Maybe Austin was the first.
Austin said, “Daddy will take responsibility if you melt. So just relax.” He then proceeded to fasten Hazel’s seat belt.
“This is my Dad . You make people’s daughters feel bad!” Hazel smacked her little lips. Hazel’s gentle demeanor almost caught the older man by surprise. Hazel’s lips looked so seductive in his eyes, he wanted to squash those thin lips, but he couldn’t do it now. “Hazel, baby!” Austin repeated the words in his heart. He didn’t want his licentious nature to spoil the little girl.
“Dad, why are you looking at me like that? Let’s go Daddy said we wanted to go.” Hazel’s protesting voice brought Austin back to reality.
“Let’s go, princess!” Austin drove the car at a moderate speed.
As they traveled, Hazel talked cheerfully about various topics. Although Austin usually didn’t enjoy trivial conversations, he enjoyed chatting with Hazel about unimportant things. Hazel had influenced him in the same way a previous girlfriend had. Austin may have started to see Hazel as a replacement for his former partner. Sadly, Hazel was unaware she was being viewed as a mere substitute and was not valued highly.
Hazel suddenly asked, “What does Dad do?” The young girl was curious about Austin’s wealth, as she thought it must be considerable for him to have such a luxurious and comfortable car.
“What is Daddy doing?” Austin pretended to be confused.
“That’s Daddy!” Hazel folded her arms across her chest. She sulked again.
“Ah, even how you knit is very similar to her.” Austin’s mind spoke. He saw the long-lost woman in the little girl.
“Don’t be so cranky. you’ll lose your beauty,” Austin’s hand gently stroked Hazel’s head. “Daddy’s just the CEO of Hal Crop.” He continued to explain.
“Oh yes, but Hazel looks sleepy, Dad. Can Hazel go to bed first? You don’t have to watch the sunset; just watch the stars.” I said while yawning.
“Well, go to sleep. Dad will wake you up when we arrive.” Austin put the Jazz he had been wearing on Hazel’s body to prevent the girl from catching a cold.
Austin murmured, “Even how Ann sleeps is similar to you.” It appeared that the man was reminiscing about someone important to him.
"Hazel... Let's get up, it's already 8 o'clock. You should eat first." Austin gently patted the cheek of Hazel, who was still in her dream world. The girl looked tired, probably because of the incident earlier in the day. He almost endangered her life. "Already there, Dad?" Hazel asked, yawning in a hoarse voice typical of people waking up. The girl also yawned, indicating that she was a pretty deep sleeper. It had been a long time since the girl was so sleepy; she usually had nightmares from living with a cruel demon. Austin said, "We have arrived. Let's eat first." He smoothed the girl's hair, which had become messy, as she fell asleep in the car."Yes, dad, that sweet Hazel is already awake, but aren't we in the right place, Daddy? This restaurant is so luxurious that I don't think Hazel should be here." Hazel looked out the window; the girl didn't feel like she belonged in such a quaint place."Have you forgotten who your Dad is?" Hmph. Austin didn't expect Hazel to be so condes
“Where have you been, coming home at this hour?” Mery said when she saw her daughter coming home at 11 pm. She had gone to bed by then, but when she woke, she found that Hazel hadn’t come home yet. Hazel couldn’t stay up that late, and Rainbow Cafe closed at 9:30 pm.“That’s-““I don’t care what you do, but remember, this is my house. If you don’t follow all the rules I’ve set, you’d better get out of this house.” Mery said coldly. After saying what she wanted, the woman left Hazel alone.Hazel murmured happily, “God, is my mom starting to notice me?” Finally, after all this time, her mother showed concern for her, even if not fully. Nonetheless, it meant a lot to Hazel. It was undeniable that Mery hated Hazel because her life became a mess from the moment the child entered her life. The man who fathered Hazel was not worthy of being called a man, as he committed the heinous act of raping Mery because she rejected his affection. After the devastation he caused Mery’s life, he left wit
"I saved you out of humanity. I have a sister and a mother, so there's no way I could leave another woman in such a bad state. As a human being, I have a conscience." Kenzie was upset that her humanity was being questioned like that."Sorry, I didn't mean to suspect you, but I grew up in a state where I couldn't trust strangers, even my close relatives." Sheren felt terrible. Her suspicion had hurt the man who had saved her so sincerely."It's okay, I understand, and you just rest first. I'll make you something to eat." Kenzie let the Caucasian woman fall back asleep on her bed. Sheren was the first woman to enter her room and sleep on her bed."Don't bother, I'll just go home. I've bothered you enough!" Sheren pulled Kenzie's hand as she was about to leave the room. She didn't want to bother the man anymore."Are you sure you want to go home? If you can, go ahead." Kenzie did not stop the woman. Kenzie understood that women like the girl she saved were very stubborn, so there was no
"With all the self-defense knowledge my father had taught me, I devised a plan to escape, but unfortunately, my body was so weak that I ended up meeting you. I don't know what my fate would have been if I had met them instead of you. I might not be able to breathe fresh air today." Sheren cried again. Everything that was happening to her was so cruel. She didn't know why God wanted her to suffer so much. She suffered physical pain, and her spirit was hurt if they wished to her possessions. She would have given everything, but why did they have to break her heart so hard?"You are strong!" Kenzie hugged Sheren back. He didn't have the right words to comfort her at the moment. She was strong enough to survive and escape. It was good he hadn't taken her to the hospital or the police station. If he had done those things, the girl's life would have been in danger again."I want to take my revenge on them," Sheren said with determination. She was not a weak woman who would stand by when op
"No!" a girl yelled, covering her face with her hands. The car's wheels creaked as I forced her to stop. "You're fine, right?" A man got out of the car he was using."I'm fine, uncle," replied the woman he almost hit while sobbing."Shall we go to the hospital? I don't want you to be injured." The man wearing a black shirt attempted to persuade the young girl he nearly collided with. He was concerned the minor incident would negatively affect her reputation."I'm Hazel, it's okay!" The shoulder-length black-haired woman replied, trying to smile the best she could."Okay, but you have to give me your number, so you can call me if you need anything." I wondered about the demon who had entered Austin so much that he was so worried about why he almost killed the woman he had been a victim of earlier."Okay, that's Hazel's number. Ah, what's your name, uncle? My name is Hazel Kimberly." The girl who had been frightened earlier instantly transformed into a delighted girl. Hazel was a humble
"How long have you been late, Hazel?" Frank asked Hazel. Frank is Hazel's colleague and best friend at the Rainbow café. "Just now, when I was washing dishes at Mrs. Kana's house, I almost got hit by a car, sis," Hazel explained as she got ready for work. I had employed Hazel at her former junior high school teacher's home as a café server and a dishwasher since school. Despite not wanting to do so, Kana sympathized with Hazel's situation and offered her a position as a laundry worker at her residence. However, Hazel preferred to work hard rather than receive pity. "But are you okay?" Frank panicked, twisting Hazel's petite body to see where the girl was rubbing. "Yeah, brother," Hazel stopped Frank's hand, who wanted to twist her body again to check for wounds on her body. "I'm fine, and Uncle braked before he hit that cute little me." Hazel winked flirtatiously. If Hazel was a thrilled girl outside the home, it was very different when the girl was home. For her, her home was just
"Do you love me? If so, break up with your boyfriend, baby!" A woman complained in the wrong way. The woman showed a sad face."Calm down Loly, be patient. Remember, it was you who told me to go out with him so that he can be our messenger to do all the tasks we have." A man answered while hugging the sulking woman."But I don't like seeing her so close to you, I'm jealous, Barnett."Hazel was amazed by what she saw and exclaimed, "Oh, so this is what you guys meant. What a beautiful plan!" She had only wanted to find solitude in the empty university garden, but she stumbled upon an unforeseen revelation.Barnett released Loly from his arms and said, "Hazel, it's not what you think." He attempted to hold Hazel's hand, but she coldly pushed it away.Hazel said firmly, "I have seen enough and for you, Loly Adney, our friendship ending here is sufficient. As for you, Barnett, we are breaking up!" Despite the situation, Hazel did not cry and maintained a flat expression.Loly remained sil
