3: Preparing

Camilla is very tired from her work but she was still happy that she won the case again even though it was so hard for her. A case about a woman being raped by her own uncle makes her feel disgusted about it. She saw that Brad's car is already outside and she smiled.

"Hmm, looks like he already thinks to go home to his own house." she said to herself because the last time they had a fight, he didn't come back home but stayed at his parents' house. Brad's parents are very close to Camilla but she can feel that they are getting far from her because of Brad or what he was telling his parents about her and how she treats him.

"You're home." she said to Brad as she saw him inside their room. He just nodded while he is busy encoding something to his laptop. Camila just bitterly smiled and didn't say anything until she remembered what did Luna told her a while back.

"I am going to have a shower. Are you done?" she asks him but she was likely asking him to have a shower with her for her to be successful in her plan to have that thing done with Brad. Brad just nodded without saying anything which pissed her off. She just shakes her head and decided to undress in front of him but still, there is no effect on him. She just groaned and took her towel and headed inside the bathroom.

"I can't even make him look at me." she mumbled very disappointedly.

As she was finished with her shower. She put on her nightdress without wearing her underwear for her to try to gain his attention but it was too hard. She tried kissing his neck while trying to push his laptop away from them but she was shocked when Brad just kisses her lips and nothing more.

"Babe, you know I am busy right now." he just said making her sigh in disbelief.

She just took a deep breath and fixed herself laying beside him.

"Yeah, I have a meeting with the head a while back and he wants me to go to someplace I don't know because another case is needed to take care of by me. He wants me to go because he believes in me that I am going to win that case." she mumbled.

Brad never said anything while his hands and eyes are still on his laptop.

"Babe, are you hearing what I am saying?" she asks him.

"Uhmm, yeah." he said.

He didn't even feel sad that she is going away. She doesn't know what kind of boyfriend he is but she just ignored him and took a deep breath before she went sideways. She couldn't even think that he is not going to be against her because she is waiting for him to tell her not to accept the case.

"Are you not even sad that I am going to accept it and we are going to be far from each other?" she asks him.  Brad took a deep breath and stops what he was doing for a while and faces her.

"Babe, I am not going to go against it because it is your decision. That is your career. You have to decide and I am not going to be mad because you are not going to stay there forever." he said and shrugs his shoulder.

Camilla just scoffs and ignores him for saying that.

"I am going to leave tomorrow. Are you sure you are not even going to stop me from it?" she asked him. 

Brad sighs and took a deep breath. He was so sure about it for him to have more time to work without her as his disturbance.

"I already told you. I don't have to complain because that is your path and I need to do my path as well. Both of us have 

a different life." he said.

She doesn't get what does he means by now but all she knows is that he doesn't have any plan to share his life with her. Camilla woke up without Brad besides her, she didn't even leave her a note with a good luck note or what. She hurriedly stand up to get herself prepared because she needs to be in that place as fast as she can.

"Ugh, I think I am going to need more medicines there." she mumbled and puts everything that Luna had given to her. While she was preparing, she was disturbed when someone keeps on knocking at the door. She decided to look at it and she was shocked and surprised by her best friend who had just come back from her vacation.

"Lola! you are back!" Camilla said and hugs her very tightly.

Lola hugs her back and giggles.

"Of course, I am back and as promised. I bought you some bags. yiieee!" Lola chuckles and handed it to them. Camilla is very happy with her present and she let her in. 

"So, I also have some for your boring boyfriend. Ops, is he here?" Lola asks her making her laugh and shake her head. Lola sighs in relief and she got stunned to see her best friend very prepared with luggage as well.

"Wait, where are you going? are you going to leave him already? Ugh, finally! that is what I have been telling you." Lola said and pats her shoulder.

Lola hates and doesn't like Brad for her because Camilla always tells her about how he treats and ignores her very well. Camilla groaned and rolls her eyes.

"Lola, I am not going to leave him. Our head just wants me to go to someplace I am not familiar with. He wants me to handle the case." Camilla said while fixing the presents she had given to her. Lola pouted and sighed.

"Okay, I thought you finally think about leaving him." she said making Camilla glare at her.
