~FLASHBACKAUTHOR'S POVSia's body felt like it was on fire as she struggled to open up her heavy eyelids. Everything seemed blurry for a second as she adjusted to the light in the room. Someone was leaning over her and she took a second to recognize that figure, “ Emily! ” Her voice came out as a hoarse whisper as she blinked several times to get rid of the bluriness.Emily was so worried about her. It had been three hours and she was still not conscious. She had even tended to her by placing iced wet clothes on her forehead but her fever was not going down making Emily more worried about her conditions. She had been leaning over her to check her temperature when she heard her hoarse voice calling out to her. A smile of relief tugged up at the corner of Emily's lips as she stared down at Sia who was opening her eyes blinking several times.

Emily was reacting the same way, she anticipated.Looking down at the hot noodles, Emily picked up the fork and started eating. She had not eaten anything after the breakfast as she was too busy in taking care of Sia. She still didn't believe that Sia was worried about her sleeping hungry. Yawning, she focused on the figure laying just beside her with his arm draped over her waist protectively. Her hand reached out to brush off his bangs away from his eyes with her fingers gently as he sighed in his sleep. An unconscious smile was tugged up at the corners of Sia's lips. Her thumb slowly drew circles on his cheek with her eyes taking in the sight before her. She had never thought that it was possible for Hardin to love her. It all felt like a lie at first but the sincerity in his eyes and the determination in his voice drove all fear away. Now there was only him and there was only her. Nothing else mattered.
