HARDIN'S POV:
"So we have made tremendous profit in the last year-" I was sitting in the conference room, attending the meeting for the evaluation of annual profit. The finance and accounts director, was giving briefing about it.Everyone was sitting straight like a rod was fixed in their spine and I was staring down the presenter. They all were peeking at me from the corner of their eyes. They were afraid of commiting a mistake, because they knew, they will have to pay for every single mistake."So our annual profit has seem a major..." the director was saying repeating the things again and again, but I couldn't seem to focus on any of his blabbering.I was thinking about something important, about someone important to be precise.I was thinking about Sia. I was lost in the memories of one week ago, when I last saw her.~FLASHBACK<AUTHOR'S POVThe living room was filled with grave silence. Everyone was looking at Sia, with anticipation in their eyes. They knew something was bound to happen, today. She was too calm in this situation and everyone could feel that, it's the calm before a storm.Louis was looking at her observantly. After that incident, he often found himself doing so. It was not easy to get to know what she was thinking about, in the past, but now it was impossible. But in the past he was sure whatever she did, she did with good intentions. She had a heart of gold, but now, after watching her destroying people ruthlessly, he doubted, that she was the same woman he once knew, still he couldn't help, but want to be by her side, always. He sighed when he found himself failing in getting any hint of, what she was thinking about this time."Oh William! You are one of the best
AUTHOR'S POVThe atmosphere was thick with dangerous tension and worry falling over every individual, present in the living room. The clock was ticking, disturbing the silence that was making everyone nervous. Sia was glaring down at William, with rage burning in her eyes," What are you thinking about?!" Sia hissed in a low voice, sending shivers of fear down William's spine. He needed to take steady steps to make sure that he didn't make any mistake. So he kept his silence, thinking everything through, which made Sia feel agitated, so she leaned a little closer to William and fumed, " Tell me already! What do you think I should do to you, traitor?!" Her voice was low while everyone looked at her scary self appearing once again.Louis rubbed his hands together, taking a look around at everyone. He sighed when his eyes stopped at Sia. It was so unusual. What Sia hated the most in th
AUTHOR'S POVEveryone was curious to know, who made William do all of this. William cleared his throat, disturbing the peace in everyone's mind and gazed up at everyone hesitantly, before exposing the one, who was responsinle for this disaster, " The CEO of SM corporation Mr. Henry Clinton, asked me to do this!"William dropped the bomb on everyone, but no one was surprised at this revelation, that the CEO of JESHLL's rival company, was the one creating this disturbance. No one spoke anything just yet as they wanted a complete explanation from William, about how everything happened. William took a deep breath and started again, " A few day ago when I was returning to home from office, his men blocked my way and hit me with something on my head. I fell unconscious! When I woke up, he was in front of me. He asked me to mess up the..... pro...project. I said I won't do it and he told me, that m
AUTHOR'S POVHarry couldn't help, but feel that something was wrong. This feeling was clawing at his guts. He decided to talk it out to Sia," This whole Dubai project.... seems suspiscious to me!" He trailed off still observing Sia trying to understand, what she was playing at, while she just smirked at him in reply. He slumped back realising what she was doing from the start."What do you mean by suspiscious, Harry?" Mr Holmes inquired in a confused tone, which amused Sia.She laughed, " It's so funny to me, how you all assess me always wanting to know what I am thinking about!" Harry's wild guess clearly amused her. He was not what people thought of him. " What does this all mean, Sia?!" Mr Holmes raised his eyebrows at Sia. He wanted answers, to soothe his burning curiosity.Sia pressed back in the sofa, leisurely, " What am I going to do with you all?!~" She singsang, which pro
UNKNOWN'S POVI felt extra happy today. In the past, her smile brightened up my day, but now the only thing that could make me happy, was her destruction. I wanted to see her burn down in ashes and for her heart to bleed like what she did to me. This was the sole purpose of my life.I was walking through the corridors of my huge mansion, smiling to myself when my feets stopped at a particular spot. My body has unconsciously brought me here. This place contained so many memories. My smile dropped. If I hated her that much, then why I always ended up coming to this part of my house, that made me remember her.It was my piano room. I was standing at the door, while the piano laid there still, on the crystal clear floor. The chandelier was hanging above it, while the windows behind it showed the clear view of outside garden.I couldn't stop mys
AUTHOR'S POVEveryone was looking at Louis, trying to guess why he was so surprised and relieved at the same time. Mr Holmes clenched his fists, thinking about the possibility, that Sia has made it through, this time too. This gesture didn't go unnoticed by Sia's hawk like eyes. She smirked internally."Alright! I will discuss this with our CEO and then give you a final answer!" Louis's final words made Sia's attention shift back to him.Louis hanged up the call and sighed, pulling back his hairs.Harry who had been silent for a while, sulking got curios at Louis's oddly relieved expressions and questioned him, "Who was it, Louis?!" Harry brought his hands together and rubbed them, which was his nervous habit. Only Sia's friends knew about this nervous habit. It was weird to see Harry nervous, as he was the embodiment of confidence out of them all.
AUTHOR'S POVAfter taking a breath to calm herself down, Sia wiped away the reminant of tears from her face. She didn't want anyone to know that she was crying. She sighed heavily and turned around before her gaze landed on the piano. She gave it a last hateful glance and started walking out of the room. When Sia stepped inside the living room, she heard Harry hissing in a low voice, " Don't do something foolish, Lara! Control yourself!" Sia stopped in her track and curiously observed the surroundings. Louis was still rubbing his temples. Harry's eyes screamed anger and frustration, while Lara smiled crazily at him. Sia frowned at the unusual atmosphere in the room. Jack was also nowhere to be seen instead, Mrs De'souza was standing at the corner. She wondered what happened. They hadn't noticed her coming yet, so she decided to make her presence known
AUTHOR'S POVA heavy silence fell over everyone. They all were curious about what Lara was talking about. When Sia kept staying froze on her spot Lara provoked her, "It was so pathethic to watch you crying and begging for someone else, when you used to say you would never kneel down in front of anyone, ever!" She sneered placing her hand on her mouth and started laughing again. Sia's hands started shaking, while everyone else was confused at Lara's talk. Mrs De'souza stepped towards Lara with a frown and inquired, "What are you talking about, Lara?!" Mrs. De'souza was agitated and confused at the same time. She felt her heartbeat getting faster, anticipating the worst case scenario.Lara didn't reply back to Mrs De'souza and chuckled at her discomfort.Sia has had enough of Lara's nonsense. She was afrai
AUTHOR'S POV “ We are going to marry next week. ” Hardin dropped the bomb on her and Sia's jaw hanged low in shock. Now, this was what they called going overboard with everything. Sia thought and whipped her head around to argue with him again when his hands made their way to her sides for the second time. “ Hardin Please. Listen to me. ” Sia placed her hands on his wet chest and sighed. Hardin's hands paused, his eyes assessing her expressions. “ I am listening. ” He smiled, pushing Sia's hair behind her ear softly. Sia heaved a heavy breath not knowing what to say to him. She did not know why she still felt so scared of everything. “ Don't you want to be with me? Don't you want everyone to know that we are married? ” Hardin whispered, his eyes noticing her expressions that changed to one of horror. “ No. No. It's nothing like th
AUTHOR'S POV When she opened her eyes and found him on his knees in front of her with a ring box opened in front of him, all fear got replaced with awe and raw shock. It was like she would never be able to breath again. “ So? Will you marry me Sia Hardin Black? Once Again? ” He smiled nervously as he proposed to her. Sia's hands shot up to her mouth to cover it as a gasp left her lips. Tears started streaming down her red cheeks. “ I wanted to prepare a grand proposal event something but I think this is the right time for this. ” He shrugged his right shoulder as he stared in his teary eyes hopefully. His heart was beating in his ears like a drum. This was the second time in his whole life that he was so nervous. Truly scared yet hopeful at the same time. “ I think this is the best time because there is only you and me. You need me and I want to be there for you whe
AUTHOR'S POV Sia turned around in the bed, her eyes opening. She did not know when she fell asleep and woke up just now. Yawning, she focused on the figure laying just beside her with his arm draped over her waist protectively. Her hand reached out to brush off his bangs away from his eyes with her fingers gently as he sighed in his sleep. An unconscious smile was tugged up at the corners of Sia's lips. Her thumb slowly drew circles on his cheek with her eyes taking in the sight before her. She had never thought that it was possible for Hardin to love her. It all felt like a lie at first but the sincerity in his eyes and the determination in his voice drove all fear away. Now there was only him and there was only her. Nothing else mattered. Atleast she could try thinking like that but she still had a hard time adjusting to this new thing. She pushed herself off the bed as she grabbed her clothes to wear them.

AUTHOR'S POV “ What? What did you say? ” Hardin shook his head, his heart pounding in his ears. He was wondering if what he heard was really what she spoke just now. “ I will stay. I said I wil-will stay. ” Sia immediately changed her statement, her cheeks starting to heat up. She had never said I love you to any man before and she felt like she did something out of the world just now. His shocked eyes were making her breath hitch. “ You said something else. ” Hardin's eyes darkened as a smirk tugged up at the corner of his lips. He knew that she confessed to him just now but changed her words instantly after that. She felt awkward but he would definitely hear it from her. One way or another. Sia pulled her hand back feeling nervous and turned around to march closer to the pictures that were hanged on the wall. Her hands were trembling at her side,
AUTHOR'S POV “ You! You will come with me. ” He grabbed her wrist and started dragging her back inside the mansion as Sia let him take her, feeling dumbfounded. What was Hardin doing? Sia wondered but could not find the answer to that. She guessed, she would find out in a while. Hardin dragged Sia to the room on the upper floor which was his as she recognized instantly. The combination was maroon and black. It gave off an eery vibe just like his personality. He pulled her inside and closed the door behind them smoothly with a click. Sia took in the interior of the room. There was a huge king sized bed in the middle with black sheets and maroon duvet and pillows. Sia's eyes conveniently left the bed and stopped at the wall beside it. Her breath hitched when she noticed alot of pictures hanged on the wall. Her pictures. She had never seen them before though. She did
AUTHOR'S POV “ I am going to leave now. ” She whispered and looked up in his eyes that were open now as his heart dropped down to the pit of his stomach. “ What do you mean by this?! ” Hardin pulled away from her and asked in a cold tone as Sia gazed up in his eyes thoughtfully. “ What do you mean by leaving?! ” He asked again with hysteria clear in his eyes. Sia heaved in a heavy breath before grabbing his hands and pushing them off her arms. She looked in his eyes for a moment before replying in a determined tone. “ I am going to take Emma and I am going to leave from here. I am going to go somewhere far from here. ” Hardin's eyes went wide realising what she was hinting at. She was talking about leaving him. She was telling him that it was over between them. It was over before it even started. “ No. No! You can't do that! ” He growle
AUTHOR'S POV Sia embraced Emma closer not knowing what to say as a lump formed in her throat immediately. Emma placed her head on her shoulder and did not say anything else either. Sia's eyes travelled upto meet Hardin's baby blue orbs that were already staring at her with an unrecognizable emotion shining in them. “ I won't cry if you won't cry. ” Emma sniffed after a while and pulled away wiping her eyes with her small hands. Sia grimaced as she averted her eyes back to meet Emma's eyes that painfully reminded her of Emily's eyes. “ I won't cry. ” Sia shook her head as she pushed the tears back, looking at her. Emma pulled her closer once again and sighed out as Sia felt her heart hurting more. She was just a child yet she was like this. Emma pulled away instantly and her eyes shot up to meet hers. “ Will you play chess with me? ” The same excitement shined
AUTHOR'S POV Standing in front of two old graves, Sia did not know what she exactly felt. She never knew these two people. Luther Martin and Lily Martin yet their connection was deeper than anything else. Their blood ran in her veins and pumped through her heart. But she was not used to this. Her whole life, she had known only herself and her loneliness. Nothing else. She was so used to it that the term family scared her now. Shaking her head, Sia turned around to leave. They were dead and she had to move on from all of it once again. All important people in her life were either dead or they left her like Harry was going to do. A red rose was clutched tightly in her hands. It was so surprising that Lara, Lucas and even John and Emily's new graves were in the same cemetry. Her parents were so close to her yet she never knew. And now, when she knew everything, it did not make any difference. Glanc
