Emily's p.o.v

I leaned against the window as Dwayne drove the car to town.

He was glancing in the rearview mirror with each passing minute.

"What?" I asked loudly when I met his gaze.

"Nothing Luna." He answered in a respectful tone.

"It's not nothing when you keep looking at me like that." I answered.

"It's just that I'm wondering why you wanted to go in town alone so badly." He said.

"I'm not alone am I?" I asked seriously.

"No, you aren't." He answered then focused on the road.

  I thought convincing him to get me in town was going to be hard but I was very wrong. It was much easier than I had thought.
