JUDAH's POV :
"Kiss me," she said again.
I heard her loud and clear, but why the fuck was I not moving? And I shouldn't have made her have to repeat herself. But damn it, I was fucking terrified.
"Judah?"
"Blondie," I said quickly through gritted teeth, "I just have to warn you. If we kiss... it will end the world,"
It's happened before and no one survived, especially me.
"What do you mean?"
"Letting you go was the single stupidest thing I had ever done. And I've done a shitload of stupid things. So, I'm gonna be honest with you, I will kiss you. And then I'll never let you go,"
I didn't wait for her to react this time. Closing the distance between us, my face delved right in for hers. It was like an explosion of sensation. Just the taste of her lips was enough to send me off the rails.
<JUDAH's POV :"Did I do something wrong?" she looked up quickly with a puzzled look on her face."If you go on like this, I'd lose myself right here and now. And that's not what I want," I let out a short laugh as she turned red in response.Bending down to reach for my jeans, I pulled out a fresh pack of condoms from the wallet in my back pocket. She watched me intently, not moving an inch, as I rolled the rubber down my length.Once I was done, I gave her a quick smile as I grabbed her by the hand. I laced her fingers through mine, before pinning it gently back against the wall."Such bad hands," I hissed playfully.Using my free hand, I pulled her one thigh up and arched her body so she was completely open to me. My manhood was rubbing against her and she scrunched her eyes shut in response."Open your eyes,"&n
JUDAH’s POV :"You doing alright?" I whispered to her ear as the both of us were lying down on the floor, atop of a bed made of our clothes.I was worried that I might have overworked her a little. I didn't mean to, but we ended up going at it for a few more times.I just can't help it, okay? Fucking sue me.Luckily, she nodded her head and gave me a small smile. Letting out a sigh of relief, I noticed her skin was shivering a little, so I pulled my jacket up to cover her. She looked at the jacket and then to me, and her eyes glistened a little."Hey, what's on your mind?" I said as my fingers ran through her cheek."This... isn't another part of your game right?" she breathed lowly, pausing a second before saying, "You're not gonna wake up tomorrow and say that this all meant nothing?"Fuck, did I mess
TAYA's POV :"My little Romeo and Juliet babies are finally together! Oh, I'm so happy for you two!" Hallee practically jumped us as soon as she saw Judah and me entering the school hallway."Ssshh, Hallee, keep it down will 'ya?" I shushed her as I was getting antsy with all the attention we were getting. It was Monday morning, and school was back on full speed. The hallways were filled with students walking and talking about. And all morning long I had been getting weird looks from everyone. Why was I getting weird looks from people? Oh, I don't know, maybe it was because Judah couldn't keep his hands off me, literally! He made it a point for us to walk in together, and he had his arms around my shoulder the entire time. My left shoulder was starting to get cramps because of him."Sorry, I'm just too excited when you told
JUDAH’s POV :The library turned out to be a bad place for making out. Noted. After leaving the librarian with a heart attack, Blondie and I dashed out of there and I spotted an empty classroom across the library. Not wasting any time, I pulled Blondie into the classroom and closed the door shut. Blondie shook her head at me and stifled a laugh. Meanwhile, I was reduced to a grinning mess, unable to contain the desire to kiss my girl.Putting my hands on both sides of Blondie’s face, I was trapping her in place as I looked at her with fire in my eyes. She looked up at me and bit her lip, and my face delved down to find hers. Our lips had touched and I was about to deepen the kiss, when suddenly—* RING ! * RING! * RING! *The stupid bell had to ring and ruin the moment. I let out a frustrated groan and Blondie
TAYA’s POV :Spending time with Judah was never second best. For the past week, Judah and I were like two peas in a pod. We did everything together. In the morning, he’d pick me up to go to school. We spent as much time together at school as possible, and afterward too. Usually, we’d go to the diner for some snacks and studying. And right before dinner, Judah would drive me back home. Then I’d have dinner with my family and Judah and I would talk on the phone until we fell asleep. Sometimes, when we felt like it, Judah would drive to my house in the middle of the night, and I’d sneak out with him to our favorite spot in the island. That right there was pure paradise. After an entire week together like that, I thought we’d be sick of each other by now. But no. On the contrary, I was still missing him every time he wasn’t around. Like at dinner
JUDAH’s POV : “You two think you’re very sneaky, but people all over town have been talking, and I’ve heard it all,” he said again. Shit. This town’s a lot smaller than I thought. "Well, okay, but, sir—" "Do you like to play games, son?" "Excuse me?" "Because games are for kids. And you two are adults. Turning eighteen. Going off to college soon. So I'm gonna treat you all as adults, you hear me?" "Yes sir," I replied immediately, "And no sir, I'm not playing games with your daughter if that's what you're implying. I'm very serious about her," "We live in a small town. Tight-knit community. People talk around here. I've heard some things about you. And to be honest, they're not very good," "But that's not very fair, isn't it? To judge a person before you get to know them," I wanted to appear confident, pausing for a beat before I said, "Sir," "Which is what I'm trying to do right now," he said with a long sigh. I was raking my brain trying to find the words to say to get hi
TAYA's POV : - - - - - One Month Later - - - - - I was staring at my laptop screen in awe — a page full of words was displayed in front of me. Total word count: 500 words. Yes, I, Taya Leigh Williams, had finally completed my college essay. Not to sound narcissistic or anything, but I legit thought that it was a great essay. I got so proud of myself every time I read over it. UCLA's application deadline was last night, and I had sent in my application just in time. I could only hope that UCLA would agree with me on this because they were my first pick. I was sitting outside the guidance counselor's office with nothing much to do, so I started re-reading my essay. Re-reading my college essay got me thinking about how much I'd grown the past year. I started out as nothing but a blank white page, and now, I was full of new experiences and new stories to tell. I guess Taya 2.0 was a successful project after all. I glanced over at the clock on the wall, and the time showed it was al
- - - - - TWO MONTHS LATER - - - - -BLAKE’s POV :“Thanks for meeting me here,” I said as I rolled down the car’s window. The black SUV parked right next to me also rolled their window down, revealing Danny’s face, wearing a pair of dark sunglasses. “No problem,” he said.“You got what I asked?”“It’s all there,” Danny pulled out a big brown envelope and I quickly swiped it from him before anyone in this parking lot might see.“What happened to your face?” I narrowed my eyes at him. Underneath his sunglasses, I could see bruises and cuts all over his face.Danny stifled a laugh and pulled his sunglasses down, revealing the full scale of his wounds. “Underground fighting ring,” he answered. “It’s a fun sport,”Danny used to work as my family’s personal investigator slash bodyguard. Now that he was in his sixties, he decided to retire his muscles, but we could still use his expertise from time to time. This time was no different. For the past two months, he had been spying and finding
