AGATHA’s P.O.V.
The continuation from Agatha’s last point of view…“So, which of your parents are member of the coven?” Cali asked me. I tried my best to compose myself, thinking of a proper answer to that question of hers. I need to come up with good response, just in case that she was trying to test me if I am indeed, one of them.“My father. And you are right. I am a hybrid. My mother is a human, so maybe that is the reason why you can hear my pulse,” I explained, before slightly chuckling to myself.“Wow. I haven’t meet a hybrid before. Who knew that you can be one of the refugees. But, what happened? To your mother, I mean?”“She died.”“I’m sorry about that. But how about your Dad? Didn’t he supposed to protect her?”“Protect her?” I asked, before bitterly laughing to myself. A vampire? Protecting a human? That is impossible. They are monsters, and once I found out whom truly killed my parents, I will immediately make sure that he or she will pay for it. Now why does this vampire acting like their own kind supposed to be protecting a human if their nature was to kill us and drink our blood?“Yes. I mean, our kind is known for being too protective of our mates. So I was surprised that your mother died… And your father didn’t do anything to protect her?” I clenched my fist. Both of them died, as a mortal human after being slaughtered by vampires. How dare she to emphasize that vampires can protect humans when all they ever care about was to satisfy their thirst for blood?“He’s also dead. He died before my mother, so I guess that’s it.”“I’m so, sorry. That is very tragic. You must be really traumatized by what happened. Don’t worry, you will be safe here, Agatha,” she assured me once more. I just nodded, before fixing my things to prepare for the next day. But just as I was about to take a rest, someone knocked on our door, and Cali immediately stood up and volunteered to get it for us.“I’ll check it. Just go on. You had a very long, tiring day today.”“Thanks,” was my short, and cold response. She opened up the door, and I narrowed my eyes the moment that I saw Athena, standing there while looking around the room as if searching for me.“Agatha, your presence is needed by the our leader’s office,” she announced.“Me?” I asked, surprised.“Yes. Conrad wants to speak to you, now,” she emphasized.“But why? I mean, Agatha is just new here. Conrad doesn’t take any interest upon the arrival of new students before,” Cali wondered.“Just allow her to go. He is waiting for you,” Athena spoke to me again, before turning around to leave.“Damn. Why would he want to speak to me?” I asked out of nowhere.“Don’t worry, Agatha. Everything will be fine. Conrad might be a little intimidating, but trust me, he is soft in the inside. Now go on and follow Athena. Don’t be nervous,” my roommate assured me. I just nodded, before following Athena’s guide. I feel a little bit anxious, mentally debating myself whether or not I should start panicking for there is a huge possibility that he wanted to call me because he already found out that I am not one of them… That I am only here to investigate about their hidden world.“Come this way,” Athena spoke up, awakening my senses and pulling me from my own thoughts. A dark, gold painted door is standing by the end of the hallway, one where her fingers are pointed at. She nodded at me as a sign to enter, and so I did, before seeing an empty room with gothic design in the inside. It was silence that reign in that moment. I slowly shut the door, not even allowing myself to make a little noise inside of this place.“Finally…” a deep voice trailed off, shocking me in the process. When I look around to try and find him, I saw a swivel chair nearby the desk slowly turned around, revealing a man wearing a dark cape. He looks so familiar, and somehow, I feel like there is some kind of connection between the two of us. It felt like we are magnets, pulling and attracting each other in a way that no one can ever explain. I gulped, staring into his eyes as I remember the man I saw in the hallways earlier. Is it possible that it was him? His orbs are dark, crimson red, almond shaped that is staring right back into my direction. His lips… How can a cold blooded vampire can have a red, kissable lips?“It’s you… I knew it,” he muttered with his raspy voice, before standing up from his chair. My eyes widened in shock, feeling confused by his words. Why does it seems like he already knew me? I am just a normal, mortal human who wanted nothing but revenge for my parents… But why is he acting as if we already met before?“Can’t you remember my face? It’s me, Heather.” He took another step forward, and I took another step back. I started panicking, my heartbeat is raising as he started getting closer and closer upon my location. Now he is calling me by a name that I never heard before… Until I felt something hard on my back… He already cornered me by a wall. Only now that I realized how close we are to each other, and if only he’s breathing like a normal human would, then maybe I already inhaled his breath… Just a few inches away and I’m sure that our lips will finally collide.“I’m sorry, but this must be some kind of mistake. I am not Heather. I am Agatha,” I introduced myself, hoping that it will wake his senses. But that didn’t even help me out. He placed his palms on the walls, pressing it with much desire as he leans in, and I froze, feeling his lips near my earlobes.“Heather… I finally found you. After centuries of waiting…” He whispered through my ears, inhaling the vanilla scent that I put on myself earlier this morning.“What are you talking about?! I am not Heather! I’m Agatha!” I immediately protested, slightly pushing him away but my strength is not enough for this devil to stop.“No, my love… It’s you… You may not remember who am I but I’m sure that it was you… Now come and surrender to me… Surrender to your master now,” he told me in his raspy voice, before finally, I felt his lips upon my temple. His hands started to travel down to my arm, gently caressing it as he started to kiss my neck, leaving me with nothing else to do but to stand there, frozen and stunned by the sudden turn of events as I felt like I was about to give in to his inevitable desires. To be continued…AGATHA’s P.O.V.A drop of blood; That is all what is takes for my life to be completely changed by everything. I was walking down the dark aisle of the streets when all of the sudden, a shadow came towards me. I feel anxious, thinking that someone’s eyes might be watching my every move. AGATHA’s P.O.V. It was early in the morning when I woke up, packing up my stuffs before I could finally leave to enter the most prestigious and mysterious university of all... The Morelli University. Some believe that vampires lurk inside that place, and I am about to find out the truth sooner or later. I started to wear my dark shirt, before putting on my contact lenses. The moment that I was about to leave the bathroom of my apartment, someone opened up the door. I turned around, facing my boyfriend, Kiel. He looked at me with amusement in his eyes, his mouth slightly parted as he remained standing there, staring straight towards my direction.“Hey. Good morning,” I greeted him.“Agatha... You look... Amazing.”“Thank you. Do you think they are going to notice that I’m a bit... You know, different?” I asked him, facing him through the reflection of the mirror in front of me.“I don’t think so. AGATHA’s P.O.V.The continuation…“Are you alright?” Athena asked me, immediately taking my attention from the man that I just saw earlier. As I immediately came back to my senses, I realized that maybe I am having a daydream after seeing that guy. When I turned around to check if he is still there, he is already gone. I froze, unable to speak up. But then, I took a deep breath, facing Athena once again.“Yes, I’m fine. Everything is alright.”“Are you sure? Because you seems dazed, a few moments ago.”“Really?” I asked her sarcastically, but unfortunately, it seems like they don’t understand that gestures in this place.“Yes. Your eyes are… I don’t know. It seems weird. Like, you had a premonition or something… That is how our eyes turned out the first time that we saw our mates,” she lengthy explained, confusing me in the process.“Mates?
