My heart was beating like a snare drum. I'm back inside my room. I took a deep breath several times as my chest tightened.

Those words were familiar to me. Why did it have to be the ending of her song? What the hell does it mean anyway? And why do I feel crazy when I hear that word?
I immediately proceed to the bathroom. I turned on the faucet to fill the bathtub with water. I dipped myself under the water after taking off all of my clothes. I wanted to get rid of everything. To wash my mind, so I can forget all about him. I want to remove all traces of him from my body.
The lukewarm water was insufficient to relieve me as it penetrated my skin.
