Rejected

I glanced at the clock, listening to the tick-tock sounds that matched the duration of my stay in this desolate place. Then a sudden realization hit me. Tomorrow is my wedding day, yet here I am, still waiting in this desolation, hoping against hope that Fiore would show up. I ran my hands over my face, haunted by unanswered questions. If only I could turn back time. If only Fiore were here, and we were both eagerly looking forward to tomorrow's event. If only Xylon hadn't deceived me.

Sighing, I decided to momentarily set aside my worries. There was nothing more I could do. I couldn't reverse time. My gaze fell upon the closed black door—the entrance to Xylon's room. Something within me drew me towards it.

The door was unlocked. As I entered, I found the room silent, and Xylon's belongings neatly arranged. In one corner, there stood a leaning guitar, a surprising discovery as I didn't know he could play. It must have been a decorative item.
