The Chef and the waiter moved nervously at their place, looking around to check how big of a scene I had managed to cause. Part of me was actually having fun with this play, but another was feeling sorry for them.
“No, miss! Kindly, lower your voice. I am sure we can settle this,” Alex pleaded, but his eyes were throwing bolts of lightning my way.
“I am not paying for this. My father is a renowned food critic. I will let him know what I encountered here,” I almost yelled, making a wide gesture with my hand to show the whole dining area.
This time, Alex came closer to me and I could tell he was still angry when he placed his hand on the white cover, resting his weight on the table. “There is no need to do this. Just let me know what it is that you want...miss.”
Alex’s eyes stared at my mobile, and it took me a while to find an answer. I was failing my challenge. Allura was slipping from my grasp, leaving only the messed-up Amy to inhabit my body. The poor Amy, who had fear of commitment and was now in a relationship with Jason. The same Amy, who suffered through the deaths of all her family, and made a promise to herself she would never love and let another person break her heart. “Um, I was checking something,” I responded as convincing as I could. “There is a kid we share a fence with, he is constantly stealing my cat. I put a nanny to watch over it, and make sure Fluffy will stay at home.” Alex just kept on gaping at me, so I leaned toward him, making the screen of my mobile barely radiating any light. “Never mind, give me those tasty lips of yours. Would you, Chef?”
My heart skipped a beat and my whole body went cold and then hot in a matter of seconds. Swallowing, I grabbed my mobile and my eyes fell on the cream-colored counter.“She is no one,” I said truthfully, knowing such a person does not exist. “A friend showed me this. Nothing important really.”Jason raised his eyebrows at me, hiding his doubt behind his wine mask. It reminded me I had to go and pick one for myself.“Thank you for your hospitality. This place is amazing,” I changed the subject, but the guild from kissing the Chef suffocated me.Without waiting on any response from Jason, I took the drinks for me and Anna, and hastily left the room, escaping on the terrace.“Here, I bro
Feeling nauseous, I woke up, but my eyes refused to open. I rolled from left to right, then back. I stayed this way for a few minutes, then my mind was awake enough for me to remember I fell asleep in Jason’s bed.My eyes snapped open to see my so-called boyfriend, holding my mobile. Swallowing the bile in my throat, I greeted him with, “What are you doing to my phone?”Caught off-guard, he stared at me with parted lips. I sat up, letting the expensive silky cover slide from my body, revealing my naked torso. Suddenly shy, I pulled it back and pressed it to my chest with one hand. Then, with the other, I grabbed my mobile from his palm.“What did you see there?” I demanded to know, my blood frozen as I feared he saw my blog.“Do you ha
The rest of the day I spend on the sofa, gazing absentmindedly at the comments on my blog. I searched for Jason’s reaction in the unknown people, but there was no way I could know if any was from him. Probably he just read some of it without leaving a review, as there was nothing mean or hateful written. No matter how low I felt, I just needed to be over with my last challenge, with my paid dates, with my secret personality. I went to my wardrobe, picked a flower dress, brushed my hair, and placed my lipstick. I had done a short research on my last challenge and was going to try and win his kiss tonight. His name was Noah Miller. They called him too pure, a romantic who will not kiss without having feelings for the girl. Well, I wasn’t in a mood to do this, but I just wanted to be done with those dates. I loved my fans and I kind of owed them one la
I gaped helplessly at him, but reluctantly sat on the sofa across from him. My hands were crossed before me, as it was cold, or someone was going to steal the purse I was pressing to my torso. Noah’s smile returned when I gave him a puzzled look.“To show you how devoted I am to the blog you plan to stop, I will let you go for now,” he stated, making me relieved and mad at the same time. “But you will have only...let’s say to the end of the week. If you do not come to the flower shop with the money by then, be sure on Monday I will be at the Police with a reporter by my side. I know such a piece of juicy news might be worth something too. See how generous I am? I am coming first to you, not media.”I shook my head in disbelief. “How much do you want?” I asked through my teeth.
I gaped at Anna, not sure if I want to scream at her, or hope Jason wasn’t going to be even angrier than before. Maybe he was coming to tell me he was going to sue me for making his name dirty with my lame stories. Another knock on the door made me jump, and I left my warm beverage on the table before I drop it. Stacy and Anna gave me a small smile, both nodding for me to go and open for the rich guy. I sighed and slowly reached the front door of my tiny apartment. My tired, hangover brain couldn’t provide me with the courage to unlock and face the guy I loved. I turned to my friends with a tortured expression. “You can’t know everyone and can’t trust everyone, but sometimes you have to take a leap. Just because you are hoping for the better and are willing to pay the cost if you fail,” Stacy reassured me, and I
Note: I am not against it, but I want to state for information – this story is NOT LGBTQ story ;) My dreamy eyes stared into the steam, shaking its translucent body into the air under my nose, as my hot chocolate filled my nostrils with the sweet scent of cocoa. I wrapped my fingers around my mug and went to plop on my sofa with my laptop in front of me, enjoying the warmth and the cozy feeling of being at my home. The memories of his touch and his moves, hungry for more of me, were still keeping my red-colored lips lifted at the edges. He was a cook, and I doubted that I would ever forget the food he prepared for us tonight. It was past midnight and the time to post my new photo in my blog and watch as my fans bombard me with their comments. I would never get tired of it. I was having the time of my life and getting paid for it. No one knew my real name is Amy and no one got a clear photo of how I looked, so I could k
Part of me was fighting the fact that I was nineteen years old and this girl was seventeen. I was playing with fire, but if I only kissed her for the pic, everything would be fine. I could act friendly all the time and still get my money from the challenge.Who would know, right?I chatted with my two best friends while resting comfortably on the leather backseat of my taxi. The cheap coconut scent of the car was invading my nostrils, making me a bit nauseous. I hated coconut! One day I was going to buy my own car, I would use citrus or maybe Lilac. The people outside my tinted window were in their usual uptight mode, crowding the sidewalks, making haste to reach their destination on foot. I needed the taxi today because I was feeling drained, but my fans agreed on my attire for the date and I needed to buy

I felt a lump stuck in my throat. My wishes were different from my actions. My own rules, my own beliefs, were standing in the way of this relationship. I stayed silent for a moment, with my head bent towards my heels. I shivered, feeling the cold on my skin, as the wind waved my hair in slow motion.“I guess... I am,” I sighed and looked up at him.His warmth and his perfume comforted me when he enveloped me in his arms. The tight hug was short, as he moved just a little to let our lips touch in a playful, passionate kiss. I could sense his positive emotions, but my heart couldn’t enjoy this moment fully. I had to figure this out. If I was going to have a boyfriend, my blog had to stop existing. I had to delete it and hide it ever existed. Then, I had to find a job before I run out of money.&ldqu
Jason began hastily moving his hand, and I placed my jacket in my lap in a futile try to hide what was going on. I bent my head in my back seat and closed my eyes. Pressing my bottom lip between my teeth, I had to concentrate to avoid my moans being heard by the people around. When I was almost done and all my body was tightened like a string, he removed his hand.“What are you...?” I began, but then I was at a complete loss when I saw him intentionally throwing his empty juice cup at my feet.Leaning to get it, he took a little too long to kiss my ankle and make a line with his tongue up to my knee. I looked around, but no one really paid attention to us. Swiftly, he dipped his head under my jacket and my skirt and sucked on my pearl for a short moment.
