Introduction “YOU ARE NO KING!!” she yelled. “BUT I’M YOUR KING!” He shouted back. Two ruthless vampires who don’t tolerate each other, one is a king and the other a rogue, both with the power of mind control. But unable to control themselves. Destiny played it for them when they became mates. He accepted the moment he knew but hated it when he found out who she was. She hated his guts and rejected him, but the king didn’t let her do as she pleased, so he defies her and takes her against her own will. Will they tolerate themselves as they live together, or will each try to kill the
Kingdom of Gaels “Take her away!” she said. “But Your Majesty…” the stranger said. “No, go… please, save her and survive. Remember, no one has to know she’s alive,” she said. “But…” “No, buts… go now… before it’s too late,” she whispered. Nodding his head, he turned around and left. Getting on his horse, he looked at his arms. The baby smiled at him as he rode away on his horse. He could hear screams, shouts, and cries. Closing his eyes, he asked for forgiveness. He knew he shouldn’t leave like that, but he made a promise. A promise he would ke
◼Rose POV◼ I’m the queen of a vampire clan. I don’t have recollections of when I was small, but I have memories as I grew. My so-called brother Liam turned me into the woman I am today. I’m 136 years old, so I’m what you may call an elder in the vampire clans. So how did I become the queen of the Vampire Rogues? Well, I earn the position fighting through blood, sweat, and tears. Liam told me our clan was destroyed, burned to ashes, so we had to flee from that place. He said he doesn’t know who survived, but he had to keep us alive. I don’t quite believe him; I have this hunch he has been lying all along. My clan is one of the strongest vampire clans in Europe and one of the most feared. We keep treaties and peace with several other groups except for one, the Kingdom of Ciar. That king
◼Rose POV◼ It was early morning, and I was getting ready to leave. Now that the King of Ciar knew about the amulet, I couldn’t wait longer. So I had to arrange for us to depart earlier than expected. We needed to reach the place where the pendant was. As I strap on my vest, I hear a soft knock on the door. “Come in,” I said as I fixed my weapons. “Need any help?” Liam said as he leaned against the bedpost. “No, thank you. Is everyone ready?” I asked. “Yes, just like your order. We have a group of twelve men, the cars and weapons as well,” Liam explained, “anything else you wish to take?”
◼Nikolas POV◼ “Your Majesty, sorry to disturb you, but we got information from our spies,” someone said. I was working on some papers and didn’t look up to recognize the voice. “Very well,” I said, putting my pen down, “what do you have?” “We have information that the Solar Clan is looking for the amulet,” the man said. I stood up and walked towards the window. Looking outside, I see the sky. It was raining. An enormous thunderstorm has been hitting the kingdom for the last three days. “We also have the information of the amulet, King Nikolas,” the man whispered. “Very well, tell me more
◼Nikolas POV◼ As I’m trying to process, I feel hands push me, but I don’t dare move. The whole place was crumbling down. As my hand slips, I smell blood. Was the woman hurt? Panic taking over me, I protect her. She must be hurt, and the place was falling. Using my body, I shield her from the crumbles. … I don’t know how long we have been here, but opening my eyes, I cough. The air was dusty. It was making it hard to breathe. Moving, I take off the crumbles from my body. I could see the light penetrating the building or what’s left of it. I didn’t hear any noise; it was just the crumbling and my breathing. As I remember, I’m not alone. I look down and what I see takes my breath away. Rig
◼Rose POV◼ What did he just say? I stare at the man right in front of me. I couldn’t remember what had happened. Before I woke up, I felt someone with me. After a while, I woke up in need of the bathroom. I was confused about where I was. As I didn’t want to say too much, I pretended to be weak. What I never expected was to be touched by this man. He was the epitome of beauty; he entranced me. He was like six feet tall, just like me; he had dark brown hair, just like chocolate, his eyes were black, and his body was lean but muscular at the same time. When I felt his touch and that weird sensation, my mind clicked horribly. I’ve found my mate. It surprised me. Never did I expect to see him, especially in that place. What also surprised me was that he saved me.
◼Rose POV◼ Four hours later, I finally arrived at my clan. I saw the guards surprised to see me in a car. As I got down, Liam ran towards me. I was feeling weak. The blood wasn’t enough; I need more. As my knees buckle, Liam grabs me and carries me away. After feeding on at least eight slaves, I feel the wound healing. Liam hasn’t asked me anything. He would just stare at me. Dismissing everyone from the room, I heave a sigh. Liam approached my bed and sat next to me. “What happened?” Liam asked as he looked at me with worried eyes. “Nothing, I got injured inside that chamber, and I never saw what caused the injury,” I explained. “I know someone saved me because when I was in the chambe

Rose POV I stood watching the men trained. My belly felt heavy. I was nine months pregnant. I was going to give birth soon. So for the last month, I’ve been stressed for the sole reason that Nikolas was not serious about our kid. The one-year-old prince was making a ruckus around the palace every day. Nikolas found it funny, but I find it undisciplined. Nikolas keeps saying I’m overreacting, but he was our heir, our prince. So he needed to learn how to behave well. My brother Eden says he’s still tiny and that I’m dramatic, but I want our future king to be better than us. Hearing a cheerful voice, I turn around and find Liam carrying the prince.
Nikolas POVAfter we returned to the party, both Rose and I had a tremendous surprise. Everyone present on the ball was bowing to us. Rose and I didn’t understand what was happening, but once the Prince of Asia came forward and said what was happening. Both Rose and I were speechless.Everyone knew we got marked, but I never expected that the Prince of Asia had planned all this. With a sigh, I saw Rose stand next to the prince and introduce him.Rose looked too familiar with him. Taking a seat at a table, Rose explained what had happened.“Before coming over, Prince Novak asked me for a favor,” Rose said.“What would that be?” I asked, intrigued.
◼Rose◼ Realizing what he just said, I blush. Nikolas was smiling at me in a way I’ve never seen before. Then, walking over to me, he grabs my hand and pulls me away. I didn’t turn to look at anyone. We walked for a while before Nikolas finally stopped. Slamming me against the wall, he hits his hand, making me flinch. Kissing me roughly, I try to push him. But it was so overwhelming that I gave in. My arms circled around his neck. Kissing him passionately back, I let him take control. That electric feeling spreading across my body. How have I missed his touch? Slowly, he leaned his body against mine. Making me moan. I could feel how horny he was. He wanted me just like I wanted him right now. But there was no time for this. Moving my fa
◼Rose◼A few days ago, I passed out because Nikolas's letter overwhelmed me. Liam and Eden were worried for me. It hurt, and I haven’t stopped crying. They tried talking with me, but I asked them to leave me alone. Now I had gone and visited the Asian Clan. I needed a distraction. To be away from here. So, preparing my bags, I ask Renata to join me on the trip. Liam tried to argue with me, but I scolded him. I didn’t want to hear anything from them.As we departed from our long trip, I kept thinking about the letter and his words. He was married. He quickly forgot about me. How naïve I thought that maybe time would make me accept him once again.Throughout the flight, I was silent. Renata tried to make conversation, but I
◼Nikolas◼Three years ago…I watch her leave like that. A coward was the only thought I had in mind.I fist my hands in anger. I wanted to stop her, to see her turn around and beg for forgiveness. But, instead, she did nothing. She just walks away.Heading back to the car, I remove the crown from my head and watch as we finally leave. That bastard’s body was disposed of. Making sure we left no trace of him.All the way back home, I felt the need to turn back and head to Rose clans. But just thinking about seeing her pissed me. I should have taught her a lesson. Frustration, I look at the crown and throw it against the seat. I hated it. Why did she
◼Rose POV◼ Three years later… “Let’s get our new recruits ready and have them trained in three months,” Liam ordered. “No way. What about the other?” Renata argued. “I said no, they have their duty. Also, they are to be sent to Jordan,” Liam continues saying, “Plus, remember he asked for the first, so don’t bargain with me.” Sighing, I stand up and grab a sword. Walking over to the new recruit, I explain what we will do. Renata and Liam continue arguing, ignoring me altogether. Practicing the sword has become one of my new hobbies. The movement that I require has been a help to my injured leg. Even though I stil
◼Rose POV◼ Somehow I had fallen asleep on the way. Feeling someone shaking me, I open my eyes and see my brother carrying me out of the car. I felt tired, the pain in the leg unbearable. So I let myself fall asleep in my brother’s arm. Reaching the bedroom, I feel my brother laid me down in bed. Let the tiredness take over. I fall asleep. My body was finally aching; I could feel my leg hurting a lot. I didn’t want to move. So, I decided it was best to rest. The following day, I woke up to the brightness of the sun. Sitting up in bed, I look at the mountains. It was a beautiful day. But, I felt something was different. Something had changed. A knock on the door distracts me from my thoughts. Letting the person in, I see my brother
◼Rose POV◼This was news to me. I was a being that held all the traits and qualities of our creators.“You know what’s worse. My own brothers didn’t wish to kill you. They had this stupid idea you would be what we needed, well too bad because I don’t need someone like you,” the bastard said.I was in shock. Was all this true? Or where this lies?“Lies, right?” I asked with my head lowered.“Lies? I wish, but it’s not,” the bastard said.I started laughing out loud. But, my goddess, was all this true then?“What the fuck are you la
