The Fairy Princess

I drew close to the training ground eager to see who they were talking about. “Helen, the prince told you yesterday that what happens in my group is none of your business. Don’t make me pull rank to get you to stop or punish you.” The man said.

The woman didn’t look like she wanted to stop but I did not see who the one who didn’t want to shift was. I also wanted to understand why the trainer was protecting her.

“Do warriors in this palace choose how and when to train?” the moron besides me shrugged. “I know nothing about that, warriors and training is my brother’s department.” I knew he was just a moron.

Two warriors got into the center and started training. One in wolf form while the other was in human form. I drew even closer and went to stand next to the one who was arguing with the trainer.

“Tell me, why do you argue with your trainer instead of listening to him?” I asked her. She turned to me then bowed her head when she noticed her prince next to me.

IANNA’S POV“I wish I could be like you; man, you can fight!” Sam said with so much envy. I have not spoken to him since the day we got to the palace. I thought I should have a word with him after training and find out how he was doing.I might not be around for long to have a chance to talk to him again. “You will get there, you have improved a lot as it is.” He nodded. “Yes, but not like you. How have you been, anyway, you don’t look so good.” He asked first before I could ask how he was doing.“Let’s start with you then I will tell you everything you need to know. How are things with you?” he smiled and that smile alone told me all I needed to know.“I am happy, for the first time in a long time I feel seen and valued. Yes, there are many of us even in the dorms where we sleep but they don’t tease or make fun of me. They don’t treat me like I am stupid. Here they treat me like one of their own and even look out for me. This place feels like home to me.”I was glad things were going

IANNA’S POVI frowned confused, who could be this important person who might help us and why were we meeting him in the woods? Those were the questions I had when Aegen told me that.“To get there from here, you have to go behind the palace then head to the woods from there, I will be waiting, and we can go there together.” He told me.“Who are we meeting?” there was silence on the other end. “The palace witch.” My blood ran cold, and my knees grew weak when I heard that. After I got over that anger rose from the pit of my stomach. I didn’t want to see the witch. Why would i? the woman made my life a living hell without even knowing me.Her prophecy made my already horrible life even worse back home and now she was supposed to help me? I didn’t believe that. “I don’t want to meet her; you can meet her alone if you want.”Aegen didn’t know how everyone got to call me a curse and plague in my old pack. He only knows that they called me that. “Why don’t you want to meet her? You don’t ha

AEGEN’S POVWhen the sun was starting to set, I walked to the back of the palace then into the woods and waited for Ianna. I didn’t like how angry and hurt she sounded when I spoke to her last. My Lycan urged me to go to her and comfort her.It was difficult to refuse, but it was not safe for us to be seen like that. I could feel her pain when she spoke, I could also hear that she just wanted someone to blame for how her life turned out.It didn’t help that the person offering to help us now was the same one who told her mother the prophecy and I could understand how that could be upsetting for her. “Is she coming?”I turned around quickly in fright with my hand on my chest. “Don’t sneak up on people like that!” she chuckled but then she quickly shut her mouth and looked at me with a serious expression. “I asked you a question.”I sighed, Belinda was good at seeing the fut

IANNA’S POVThe witch was full of surprises and to think I wanted to ditch her and spend more time with Sam. If I did that then I would have never seen her bow to me or heard her call me princess or welcome me home.“Don’t look so confused now, the Goddess herself told you she will bring you back to your father’s pack and now you are here. By the gods! I thought Micheal was telling lies when he said he sired a child but here you are.”She looked at me smiling and with admiration in her eyes. I must say, she was not what I expected at all from the great witch of Malraux kingdom. “I knew you set foot in the palace that night when the energy and power shifted. I got weak and I knew then that the greatest power, our hope has arrived.”She smiled then continued. “I called upon the gods at that time and thanked them for keeping me this long until I could see you with my naked eyes.” She kept

IANNA’S POVWhy was the Goddess playing with me like this? “Ianna, everything she says is the truth, I told you the truth will come out in due time. This is the time; we must save our people.” Sandra said. After so long she spoke. I didn’t know if I could do it, if I could let my father rot in that jail one more day when I knew he needed me to save him. How could I sit back and do nothing when he gave up his life to save mine?“Ianna, I know you want to save your father and I also want you to. Hell, I will even help you save him as well. But, if we ignore the coming war, hundreds of people are going to die. I don’t care about my family; they mean nothing to me besides Christina. I don’t care if they lose their lives in the process but I can’t bear the burden of letting hundreds of innocent people die. Please, help us win the war then save your father.”Aegen pleaded with me. “My

The Troll King“Sire, I have news.” A guard budged into the throne room while the Troll king was having a meeting with his council. Already the knock on the huge double doors caused a stir making everyone in the throne room turn their heads towards the doors.I gestured with his hand for the doors to be opened. That was when the young guard budged in saying that. “You dare disturb a council meeting!” I bellowed feeling disrespected by the boy, the young guard lowered his head.“I apologize my king but the news I have can not wait, the council must hear them.” The council members and I shared a look wondering what news the young guard could have that would make him risk his head over.“Well, spit it out already!” One of the council members said. The young guard looked like he didn’t know if he should continue bowing or straighten up. In the end, he opted to kneel. At least he showed enough respect for me as the king and the elders in the room.“We just received news; the Malraux Kingdo

The Fairy Princess“It looks like we did well by not killing the troll king’s spies, huh dad?” Not long ago we found out that some of our men were being paid by the troll king for information. My father wanted them dead, but I told him to hold off on that.I told him we could use them to feed the troll king the information we wanted him to have. They were the ones who helped us deliver the information about the Malraux kingdom, wanting to attack them. They are the reason why the Troll king was now going to attack the Malraux kingdom or planning to as we speak. “Well, I didn’t know back then that they would be of use to us. But your decision has proven to be useful as usual.”By the gods, I could not wait to run my own kingdom and let my father handle his own. I was getting tired of bailing him out all the time.“Now what is left is find at opportunity to get rid of that girl, from what you told me, she might be the real deal and we can’t have that.” Well, we tried to get that girl alo

IANNA’S POVThat damn princess was at the training grounds again, she called Helen in a subtle way, and I made it as if I didn’t notice. She told me she wanted to go to the bathroom and drink some water.I was left spurring with Sam, but I could tell they were having an intense conversation there. When she came back, she was no longer the smiling Helen who was encouraging me to train harder. She was now passive and even gave me looks like she wanted to eat me alive. When we were done, she said. “I have a few moves to show you. Meet me here tonight around nine.” She said then walked away. When I told Sam about it, he told me that I should not meet her alone. I didn’t think it was a big deal, this was a palace after all, and Helen was a member of the elite warriors protecting the royal family. She would not do anything stupid, but then again, I thought about how the princess she had befriended wanted me dead. So, I told him that I would ask Aegen to go with me.When I left the training

AEGENThe guard went looking for Ianna’s phone in all the places she went to toady, but he could not find it. I tried calling it again, but it kept ringing with no answer. I didn’t think much of it when I asked my head of security to track it.But I started to worry when she told me that she tracked it to the woods close to our spot. Our spot was between the palace and the deep-water pack. There were only three people who knew about that spot and one of them was dead.Me, Ianna, and my dead sister. Also, I knew that Ianna would not have gone to that spot without me. We promised we would find time to go there together. Plus, the guard said she never left the palace grounds since I left. That only meant one thing, that her phone was stolen, and the culprit was someone who worked in the palace. I wouldn’t have cared about finding the phone if it wasn’t for the serial killer we had in our hands.I could not take any chances and there were no coincidences with these kinds of things. So, I

IannaI studied until noon then I went and got lunch for myself. I was starting to feel dizzy, and I knew it was because I didn’t eat breakfast. Aegen would have been angry with me if he knew I didn’t eat breakfast. He would have accused me of starving his child. Not knowing that I didn’t have appetite this morning. After eating, I felt sleepy, and I decided to go and take a nap for a while before going back to my studies. The week has ended and there were still no new leads on the serial killer. Aegen was getting frustrated by all of it. I could hear it in his voice very time we spoke on the phone. But there was nothing either of us could do about it.This person has to be stopped. One way or the other he has to be found. I told my guard I was going to take a nap for a while and that he should not let anyone disturb me. I missed having a friend in the palace. Now that Aegen was not here, I didn’t have anyone to talk to. It was lonely. The omega bless their souls try to talk to me and

AEGENLeaving the palace was difficult, not it was not but leaving Ianna was. Especially now, knowing that she might be in danger. We didn’t know who this was, we didn’t know where he was. He could be at the palace for all we knew and yet. I was leaving her behind. My heart was not at ease, but I had to go. She wanted me to be the best warrior in the kingdom and not her mate and father of her unborn child. She trusted me to get this person and put this matter to rest.It has been a week since I left her, and three more people have been killed so far. A she-wolf from the silver moon pack and a close guard to the young alpha of the deep-water pack. Jeyden. He too was killed the same way as the others.Another was the young alpha from the Golden Moon pack and this one was a friend of Jeyden. Now I believed that the person who was doing all the killings was after Jeyden, but we still didn’t know why.We were now back at the Deep-Water pack to question the kid. I want thinking this person

IANNAI sat there listening to Damon explain about this serial killer and I didn’t know what to do. Aegen and I have just taken over as leaders of the kingdom and yet the very first challenge we had on our hands had nothing to do with finances.Resolving pack disputes, no, our problem was bigger than anyone else’s. we had a serial killer in our hands, and we had no idea what to do or how to stop the person. I hear Damon saying they are trying to figure out what this person wanted, and I couldn’t care less about that.I wanted the person can be found. The only way to know what the person wanted was to find them and question them. “Tell me Damon, since you and my father have discovered what this person’s Amo is, have you not discovered what he wants already?”I mean, his actions and the scorpion should give them an idea what he wants. “It’s not that simple with this person. The Amo is the same, but that doesn’t give us anything at all. Just some killings done by the same person nothing

AEGENI watched from the window as my mother and Ianna’s father got into the car and left. She has been trying to talk to me since the coronation, but I would not hear any of it. She did something wrong and she needed to know that and learn. This is how Christina started her evil ways and because I forgave her when she did that. She continued to a point that she ended up almost killing my mate. Mother needs to know that we don’t do things like that I was not going to allow her to start now. What she did was vindictive for no reason because Ianna’s father chose her. Why did she have to go the extra mile rubbing it. That is one thing I will never understand.Ianna came and stood behind me. “You should have said goodbye to her.” I scoffed. “She is not dying but leaving the kingdom.” She came and stood in front of me. “You are going to miss her.”I took her into my arms inhaling her scent. “Of course. I will miss her; she is my mother after all and I love her. But, not enough to encourage

MICHAELIt was so good to see how well she was received by the kingdom. I knew they would be like that as soon as they knew who she really was. She too looked happy, I didn’t know if it was because of the crown or the pregnancy. But it didn’t matter. What mattered was that she was happy. But I wouldn’t say the same about Aegen, he looked bothered before going to be crowned. I asked his mother to go and talk to him. I didn’t want him taking the crown if he didn’t want to.My daughter deserved more than that, though I didn’t think being with her was the problem. I was sure it had something to do with his family. That was why I asked his mother to talk to him.“Penny for your thoughts?” I snapped out of it. “I was just thinking about Aegen and what could be bothering him on a day like this. Doesn’t he want the child?” I asked his mother. I didn’t know what to think and I didn’t want to leave Ianna if things were not right with them.“No, it’s not that, he is looking forward to being a fa

AEGEN I didn’t know what to say when she told me that she was pregnant. Of course, I was happy but damn it. Did she have to tell me in front of all those people. How I had to restrain myself and not act cry in front of them.I was going to be their king after all. I pulled her gently close to me and whispered. “You are a very cruel queen and you have not even been crowned yet.” She chuckled. “Why would my kind say something like that on such a day.”I gave her a playful glare. “You told me this here on purpose knowing very well I can’t do what I want to do to you. How could you do that if you were not cruel?” she laughed. “Well, Malraux kingdom, I think we should crown them now before they show us things we are not prepared to see.”That fucking elder said making the crow laugh at our expense. “This is not over, not by a long shot my dear queen.” I whispered to her, and she blushed. I could not believe she was carrying my child. No wonder she was adamant on finishing her studies ear

IANNATwo months have passed, and it was the day of the coronation. Today Aegen and I are going to be crowned king and queen of the kingdom then my father will leave with Aegen’s mother to lead the fairies. I still can’t believe those two. But they were happy and there was nothing I could do about it.I was happy for them. Aegen and I have been happy, and we are expecting. But I have not told him about that yet. I plan to tell him after the coronation. To surprise him, am sure he is going to be happy about it.Damon also took the girl from the deep-water pack as his mate, and I believe she had made him soft if I dare say. “I can’t believe this is happening, it is packed out there that it got me scared a little.” He said coming in.I turned to look at him and fixed his tie. “Well, you better get rid of that fear because it is happening. We didn’t want to go to the fairy kingdom, and this is what we got.” He sighed pouting. I kissed him.“Don’t stop, why are you stopping?” I chuckled mo

LUPEI felt sorry for my daughter, the Goddess knows I do but I could not take it anymore. It was too much. The only thing she has been doing through all of this is complain, call me stupid and asking me why I didn’t kill my other daughter.I was tired of it, we have done enough and the reason we were now going to live with the humans, it was because of us. We did this to ourselves, and we had no one else to blame but ourselves. Me especially, I am her mother, and I should have taught her right from wrong. But I didn’t and now it was too late to do anything. “Lissa, go get your bags so we can leave.” She scoffed. “Didn’t you hear what I said mom, I want them to pay for what they did to me. You have to do something.”This child is driving me insane and if she continues this way. I am going to lose my mind and I don’t know what she will do then when I am cray. “You will get me in the car and if you are not there in the next twenty minutes.
