Chapter 876

Margot sat on the bed and put away her phone. She was once again overwhelmed with deep sorrow as she thought about her daughter.

Curtis walked in carrying some food.

He sat by the bed and reached out to take her hand. "Margot, what did your Mom say to you?"

Margot snapped back to reality and told the truth,

"Mom approved of Calvin being with Natalie."

Curtis was quite surprised. "This is a good thing!"

"Yeah, I think it's great. Calvin has finally gotten what he wants."

The only question was whether Natalie wanted to get married.

Dating and getting married were two completely different things.

"Calvin is really something. Once he gets past your Mom, there won't be any obstacles between him and Natalie."

Margot nodded. "My Dad usually listens to my Mom, so it should be fine."

She lowered her head, but there was still sorrow evident on her face.

Curtis noticed her sadness and pulled her into an embrace.

"Aren't you supposed to be happy for them? Why are you feeling sad?"
