Margot did not bother to ask him about it. She walked over to the kitchen instead.

She halted her steps when she noticed the breakfast on the dining table. She immediately knew that Calvin had come over to prepare breakfast.

Margot sat down and started to eat without a care.

She then told Curtis beside her, "Since you're so free, you should help Lilac wash up and send her to the preschool after she wakes up. I'll be leaving for work soon."

She would be able to focus on her work if someone was there to take care of Lilac.

Curtis immediately replied, "Don't worry, darling. Consider it done!"

Margot almost choked on her breakfast upon hearing the word "darling".

She looked at Curtis and said, "Can't you be any less shameless, Curtis?"

Curtis replied, "I could certainly try. Why? Don't you like me calling you 'darling'?"

"Fuck off!"

Curtis said, "Oh, I'll just call you Margot instead. Just focus on your work. I'll take good care of our daughter."

Margot couldn't do anything abou
