Chapter 259

Margot didn't sleep all night. She just sat on the couch in the living room, waiting for Curtis.

Curtis only returned home at 7:00 am. He assumed Margot had gotten up early to go to the hospital with him. When he saw her dozing off on the couch, he walked over and said, "Margot, are you ready? Let's go if you are."

Margot woke up from her half-asleep state and gazed at the tall, imposing man before her. She hurriedly stood up and said, "You're back?"

"Yeah. If you're ready, we can leave now."

Curtis turned around and walked ahead, not daring to look at her a second longer.

Margot didn't expect him to be in such a hurry. She stood there with her bloodshot eyes, unwilling to leave with him.

After walking a few steps, Curtis realized that she wasn't following him. He turned back and asked, "What's the matter?"

"Mr. Crosby, Ms. Stone, breakfast is ready. Please come and have some breakfast."

Before Margot could say anything, Doris' voice came from not far away.

Curtis thought she
