Chapter 1178

Gabriel was making soup when he heard Curtis' questioning voice.

He turned to look back. Instead of answering the question, he asked, "Is something wrong?"

"Calvin isn't home. Is it appropriate for you to cook for his wife at his place?" Curtis asked.

Gabriel turned down the heat and faced Curtis. "I'm not doing this for Calvin's wife. I'm doing it for my son. Also, I'm not the only outsider in this house. Luna is here too."

Benjamin had recently been staying here with Natalie, and Luna was also here. He was invited to come over since they happened to be around.

Gabriel was well aware that he should keep his distance if Benjamin and Luna weren't around.

"Even so, if I were Calvin, I would still mind this a lot." Curtis expressed how he felt.
