Red Shoes

Gabriel slowly opened his eyes, he glanced around, it looked strange. His head also felt dizzy. Slowly he sat up and got up from lying down.

"Where am I?" Gabriel asked while holding his head and looking at his position on a mattress that didn't belong to anyone.

"What happened? Didn't I just come home from the orphanage, why am I here? Whose room is this anyway?"

Gabriel was still asking himself questions, then he got out of bed, walked slowly towards the window and looked outside.
