I cried so hard when I saw them both gone. My hands shook. Without thinking, I swung it back and forth, flinging everything in my sight.
My chest heaved in so much anger.
When I stopped, the whole place was in chaos. Everything was turned upside down.
“How did they escape?” I asked Boris after I fully vented out. My chest heaves in between heavy panting.
Boris’s eyes darted to the side. He refused to meet my gaze, which was quite telling.
