Two years have passed, and Kit never saw Anderson again. From time to time, he would think how he is. But then he would realize that there's no point in remembering something that would only bring you disappointment.

Kit Solomon's life as a closet gay or a gay that couldn't admit his true self is more complicated than anyone could ever imagine.

He was born in a Christian family whose very religious and traditional. His father despises the third sex and believes that they are the embodiment of the word abomination.

He has to pretend in front of his family and relatives. Kit needs to be careful about where he goes and who he talks to because someone might rat him out. His parents will surely disown him if they knew. So Kit doesn't have a choice.

Having a controlling father is the tip of the iceberg. As if not showing his true self is not torture enough, his father also controls what he does. He is an architect because they were generous enough to let him take the course he wanted. But after that, it was his father's decision.

"Good morning, Mr. Solomon." Kit nodded as their employees greeted him. He is currently walking his way to his office, and he already wanted to run out of the building.

Every day he arrives in the company building, their female employee always shows themselves off to him. And they make him want to vomit on the spot. Sometimes, he would imagine his life if his dad is already dead. It's terrible, he knows, but he can't help it.

"Good morning, sir. Here's your schedule for today." His handsome secretary gave him his meetings for the day. While he was standing in front of Kit, he didn't even glance at the secretary. But when we turned around and leave, Kit stared at his behind.

Kit sighed and continued with his work. He can't be discovered, not in their company. It will destroy the name of his family.

It was a long day. There were new investors from other countries and small businesses who want to partner with Solomon Industries. Kit is proud of his family's legacy. Solomon Industries have been in the top for six decades, and they never went down.

And now that he's of legal age, it is his duty to the family to continue the legacy even if he has to sacrifice his own happiness for it. Kit's thoughts were interrupted by the vibration of his phone in his coat pocket.

"Chevvy? Yeah, okay. I'll see you there."

Kit quickly pack his things and left to meet his best friend. He sounded sad and stressed. Possibly because of his boyfriend, who only remembers him if he needs something. After fixing himself, he left their company.

----------

Kit went straight to the SoYoung Luxury Lounge to meet his best friend, Chevvy. SoYoung is one of their favorite places when they just want to relax and unwind after a long day. As soon as he got inside the lounge, Kit quickly looked for Chevvy. When he found his best friend, Chevvy already looked drunk. Kit shook his head and made his way to his best friend.

"You're drunk already." Kit said in a bored tone as he sat down beside him.

"Hi, sissy! Yep, I'm drunk as a skunk." Chevvy answered in a slurred manner.

"Come on, Chevvy, let's just go home. I'll drive." Kit doesn't want to carry a passed-out Chevvy because he is taller and heavier than him.

"Nope! No. Not going to. Waiter! Drinks for my best friend." But Chevvy wouldn't listen.

"What happened? Is this about Lester?" Kit asked. Why else would Chevvy be so problematic like this if not because of his gold-digging boyfriend?

Chevvy didn't answer his question. Instead, he just kept drinking like there's no tomorrow. Kit realized that there's no use forcing Chevvy to go home.

Since he already spent time driving through the traffic of Manila, he might as well enjoy the drinks and the band. He looked at the stage and saw that they were about to start.

He felt someone passed by behind him, and his smell made his head turn. Not because the perfume he used is unique, but because he still remembers that smell even though two years have passed.

------------

When Kit turns his head to see who was the man that walked behind him, he froze. He can still remember that long jet black hair that he always put up into a bun. Kit's whole body turned cold when he saw the man turned to the audience smiled. He's got some new tattoos, but Kit can still see the tattoo he had in Pagudpud. It was a Mandala design at the back of his right arm.

Their performance started with a lively disco song followed by three alternative rocks. Kit was mesmerized by how beautiful Anderson's voice is. The man he met in Pagudpud, the one who gave him sleepless nights. The one that got away.

When the request portion started, Chevvy wrote down some songs and gave them to Kit. He wanted to run away, but Chevvy pushed him forward. He didn't have a choice.

"Kit?" Kit's head was down when he gave Chevvy's request to Anderson, but he still recognized him.

"Hey, hi." Kit forced himself to smile before turning around.

"Kit, wait," Anderson called him, but his heart was beating so fast he almost couldn't hear the noise around him.

Kit ran away like how Anderson did two years ago. This time, Kit felt a pang of pain for running away. But he doesn't have a choice. He knew whatever happened between them in Pagudpud should stay in Pagudpud.

Leaving Chevvy behind, Kit got into his car and drove away as fast as he could. His heart only calmed down when he was halfway home. That's the only time that he noticed his hands were shaking.

"Goddamnit!" Kit parked his car on the side of the road and slammed his fist into the steering wheel.

"Damn it!" Kit screamed out of frustration. Why do they have to meet again? That's a question that is screaming in his mind. It took him two years to get over him. Why now?
