Nathaniel, not wanting to be rude and knowing that he will need to negotiate the terms of their alliance, Nathaniel nods his head and pulls out the chair sitting down next to her. They then make small talk, talking about the Prides and what he has in mind for change, her opinion on his plans and he even notes some of her suggestions.

Over the next hour or so with the distraction of the conversation and the meal, Xana takes any and every chance she finds to touch and skim her fingers over his exposed skin.

Rose was a little worried that they had taken a little too long to set everything up and greet some of the kingdom members who were, thankfully, already arriving. Rose had the warriors and spare servants show everyone into the banquet hall and then made her way to the dining hall.
