112 - Malia's Jealousy

When night fell, we decided to get ready for the luau. I was still a bit reluctant, but I knew Jaden wanted to go. And deep down, I was also curious to see how it would be.

I was anxiously hoping that woman wouldn’t show up. That her car would break down on the way or that she would oversleep, but that she wouldn’t show up — even though she was the one who invited us.

I put on a light, loose dress, perfect for the occasion. Jaden wore a white linen shirt and shorts. He looked stunning, and I felt a bit more secure by his side.

We arrived at the beach where the luau was taking place. There were torches lighting the path, and the sound of live music filled the air. The atmosphere was vibrant and festive, with people laughing and dancing around a large bonfire. Jaden held my hand, and we made our way to the main area. I watched the boys playing guitars and singing some upbeat acoustic music whose lyrics I didn't understand.
