DRAKE’S POV

Stephanie helps me get on the bed from my chair, tucking me in for the night.

I stayed silent, not wanting to say anything. It had been like that for a few days now and truthfully I would love to keep it that way.

I still don’t know what happened to me that. I can’t seem to wrap my head around the whole thing and I’m not going to lie, the fact that I can’t feel my legs as to be the worst thing to ever happen to me.

“Get some sleep I’ll be back to check in on you. If you need me, just ring the bell okay?” She instructs softly and I nod, still no wanting to talk.

I hear the pitter patter of her footsteps retreat and the door shuts softly, as she walks out of the room. I run my hand through my hair as I adjust the duvet on my body.

I let out a deep sigh before closing my eyes, but I quickly open them back up remembering what happens whenever I try to sleep.
