CH-8, CHALLENGE

When the manager was preparing for the battle Sandhya and all the people who had gone with them to see it were watching the ongoing battle. The battle ended with one person being seriously injured, blood was oozing out of his head and some of his bones were also broken. He came out on the stretcher and then got sent to the hospital. The winner stood there showing his big rows of white teeth to the people who were cheering for him happily. They were probably those who had bet on him and won money. Some were frustrated because they lost their money but they weren't that bothered since they were here for fun.

They were eagerly waiting for the next match to begin so that they could bet and test their luck when they heard the host say, "My ladies and gentleman. I am sorry to interrupt but we are postponing our scheduled official match for a bit. So, the next match which will be held here will be a personal one."

Hearing the announcement, people started to talk among themselves.

"What? They postponed an official match. This must be someone important."

They wondered who has this much power to stop an official underground match. Some people who had waited to place their bets on their favorite contestants seemed displeased and questioned the announcer.

"How can you stop the official match? When did you take our permission? I was specifically here to place my bet on Jackal and you are saying that the match has been postponed. Who knows how long this match will take to end? I don't have that much time. Do you know how precious my time is?"

"Sure, Mr. Beat, if you think that seeing my match is wasting your time then go ahead and get out of this place."

Mr. Beat got angry when someone replied with insult but when he turned his head around to reply, he was stunned seeing Brizio. He slapped his lips for saying something like that about him. But he didn't know that the next match was none other than his!

He instantly tried to apologize so that he wouldn't be angry for his foolish rude comment.

"I… I am sorry Mr. Davide. I didn't mean to say that. It's my greatest honor to see your match."

He tried to please him, "If it's you then the match would indeed end in some moments. I would make sure to cheer for you and place my bet on you. Please forgive me!"

Brizio smiled smugly. Everyone knows how to talk with him which is with their utmost respect. He then glanced towards unconcerned Lola who was waiting for the host to announce their fight and his smile faded. He went up to the host and grabbed his microphone and said, "The person who is present here listen clearly if you don't want to see this match then just get the hell out of here. And if you want to watch then you can just place your bet on us. I will be fighting with the lady standing below the stage. Those who weren't able to recognize me, I am 'Red Hell' the only VVIP member and also the strongest contestant of this underground battle arena."

Now the audiences were on an uproar. They had only heard about his matches but never able to watch him. Because his match's ticket is so expensive that only some of the wealthy people of that city can afford it. Rumour has it that his fireball is so strong that even a good physique person gets pushed back 3 meters away and that his fire hammer can crush every type of barrier.

Those who were doubtful on whom to bet, they immediately shouted, "We will bet on 'Red Hell'!"

All the ladies who were there also demanded their partner to bet on 'Red Hell'.

Brizio gave them a satisfied smile when he heard people cheer for him like a die-hard fan, he looked at Lola provokingly trying to mock her. But Lola was there standing cool like a cucumber. She even felt like yawning when she saw the look on Brizio's face. Brizio could only stomp his feet on stage with annoyance seeing the indifferent attitude of Lola.

"Hump, let's see how long are you going to keep up like this Lola Corsetti!"

He handed the microphone back to the host and moved to one side of the stage.

The host then cheerfully announced, "Now my ladies and gentleman the fight for which you were eagerly waiting with anticipation is about to begin. Please welcome the two competitors one is the no.1 player of this arena 'Red Hell' and…" only then he noticed that he doesn't know the other person's name.

Lola was already on the stage when she saw the host come to her and asked, "Um… miss may I know your name? So that I can announce it."

"Lola."

The host awkwardly went back to his place and announced "Welcome Red Hill and Miss Lola!"

Heavy applause of people rang through the arena and people started to cheer for Brizio. Some were even shouting phrases like, "Go beat her to hell!"

"Yeah, beat her to death!"

"Show her what you are made of brother!"

"Show her who red hill is!"

Some of the girls were so excited that they stood up from their seats and started to pose sexily to cheer him up.

Lola wasn't even a bit fazed by the scenes but what angered her most was the noise they were creating. She was so annoyed that she yelled at them, "Shut up!"

The whole arena fell into silence. People looked at her incredulously.

To break the tension in the air the host immediately announced, "Since, both the contestants are ready let's begin the fight. On my announcement of 3 2 1, Begin!"

Brizio lifted his wand in the air and casted, "Curtains of Fire shower!"

Balls of fires appeared around him like hanging stars. After it reached a certain number, he shook his wand and pointed towards Lola. All the balls of fire that were gathered around him moved towards her with an ingenious speed like it would hit her at any moment.

Some people exclaimed, "It's…. It's 50 stars of fire shower! He must be really powerful!"

"That lady is done for."

But before they could sympathize with her bad luck the balls of fire hit something in the middle of the stage and all of them exploded at once. All of the audience looked at the stage covered with smoke completely shocked. When the smoke subsided, they finally saw that in the middle of the stage there seems to be a wall parting the stage in half. On one side was Brizio while on the other side was Lola.

"What the heck is that?"

Asked one of the audiences when someone instantly answered, "It's… a wall made up of ice! A thick ice wall! But it wasn't there a moment ago! I didn't see her casting anything? How did she make it in such a small amount of time?"

When they were questioning about how the hell the ice wall appeared in the middle of the stage out of nowhere. They heard Lola say, "This wall is made up of my magic. I cast it just before your fireballs reached there. If you succeeded in breaking that ice wall of mine then you win. Don't worry I won't use any more magic. You can make a trusted man of you guard me. Now, the choice is yours. Do you accept my challenge?"
