“Mom! Are the pancakes ready yet?” Aaron called from the living room, his voice is echoing with youthful impatience. Years had passed, and she still can't believe that she could make it.

“Just a minute!” Sophia responded, a smile spreading across her face as she cracked more eggs into the pan. The morning sun streamed through the window, casting a warm glow in the kitchen. It felt like a new beginning, and she couldn’t help but feel hopeful.
