A New Beginning

Iris's POV

I hummed softly to a song which I loved as I joined the chef in making breakfast in the kitchen, I could have waited until they were done cooking and then take my portion out of it, but I was too happy to keep it that way.

Indeed my llife has changed, Arthur has given me a new beginning.

“You seem joyous today, don't misquote me you wear a smiley face every day, but something about today makes it special.” The chef said to me as we were cleaning up the utensils we used.

I chuckled and blushed.

“What do you mean? I'm like this everyday.” I replied softly and then took my food.

I went to the dining room, sat comfortable on a chair and ate my meal like a kid who was given her favorite meal, one she has been craving for days or months. I took my time to eat and when I was done, I cleaned it up. I soon became bored and decided to check up on the person who was the reason behind my smile.
