Saviour

Iris' POV

I watched how Arthur was quiet for a while, his presence, making the atmosphere quiet, finally my saviour had arrived.

“What the hell is going on here?” Arthur asked, his brows forming a 'W' as he moved towards where I stood.

I was terrified, shaking out of fright. This something I never wanted to pass through again.

My palm was wet with sweat, and so was my forehead. I was feeling so nervous and even when I tried to contain it, the thudding sound of my heartbeat that played in my eardrums wouldn't let me.

“Didn't I ask a question, what's going on?!” He roared, his voice causing everyone to flinch as murmurings spread across the room.

Everyone was afraid to speak, and it showed in the way they were trying to get someone to speak up.

“Speak! What the fuck was going on? Have you all suddenly gone deaf, or would you rather lose your Jobs?!”

He was calm, but the way he spoke instilled fear in them and I could see them shaking just the way I was before.
