I found it impossible to sleep due to the intense feelings that I had experienced with Ikaris. I cleaned my room until two a.m. to take my mind off things. Despite the distractions, my mind was fixated on him, and I couldn't help but constantly think about him.

I found myself unable to get his hazel-brown eyes, his alluring lips, and his charming smile out of my mind as I lay in bed. There was a warm and pleasant sensation that washed over me as I reflected on the tingles he caused when our hands made contact. I closed my eyes for a moment, took a deep breath, and whispered to myself, "Breathe, Alassandra, just breathe."

Suddenly, I heard a faint whisper, "He's our mate."

Sitting up in bed, I scanned the room, but no one was there. The sound of the voice echoed in my ears, leaving me puzzled as to its source. As I slowly got up and crept toward the bathroom, I heard another faint whisper, “Over here, this way.”

With my heart pounding, I hastened to open the bathroom door and swiftly t

From Ikaris's POVFor as long as I can remember, being a Valerious has always been among the most respected names. I was groomed from an early age to be the perfect leader of our kind. I was expected to uphold the highest standards of morality, honor, and strength. My responsibility was to ensure that the Valerious name was always held in high esteem. The name itself held so much power that many feared my family. You can credit my great-grandfather for that. He was not one to mess with. When I was a child, my parents taught my brother Argos and me that we were destined for something greater than we could have imagined. This prophecy was of great importance to the family, and we were to uphold its name and reputation. We were to be an example of strength and courage. We were born to be great.Once Argos and I were old enough to attend school, we got the best education our family name could provide. Our parents ensured that we participated in every class and had the best tutors our famil

  • Into the Night   Chapter 9

From Alassandra's POVI was only able to get four hours of complete sleep before my alarm clock went off, signaling that I needed to get up. I found the best way to clear my mind and find peace from the day before was to go for a run. After my parents died, I searched for different ways to relieve my stress, but nothing helped. It wasn't until I went for a run one morning that I found comfort in the quiet stillness of the early morning. My memory of the previous night flooded my mind as I walked to the restroom. I quickly pushed the door open and turned on the light, expecting to see the wolf in the mirror. Stepping inside the bathroom, I glanced into the mirror and saw only my reflection. I sighed deeply as I walked toward the sink and turned on the water."I am going crazy," I thought as I lowered my face to the sink and splashed water on my face. I opened my eyes and wiped the water away, making sure to look carefully in the mirror. I still saw only my reflection, and I began to wo

  • Into the Night   Chapter 10

From Alassandra's POV "Do you want me to stay?" Ikaris asked again as he stepped closer to me. Now, standing in front of me, I could see desire in his gorgeous brown eyes. My body shuddered at his closeness as I was lost in his gaze. Everything in me wanted to grab him, throw him on the bed and fuck the shit out of him. It was a wave of carnal desire that washed over me. I could feel my heart racing and my breathing becoming erratic. I wanted nothing more than to have him take control, make me his, and claim me. Suddenly, my phone vibrated, and the sound of an incoming text message broke me from my trans. "I-I should get that," I said as I stepped back, turned to my bed, and grabbed my phone. "Boyfriend?" Ikaris asked with a hint of disapproval in his voice. I turned and looked at him. "No, my little sister," I replied. Ikaris nodded. "Well, I'll let you get on with your day," he said as he turned and headed to the door. "I'll see you around, little lamb," he said, with a smirk

  • Into the Night   Chapter 11

From Alassandra's POV After showering and drying my hair, I decided to leave it down. I selected a deep green eyeshadow with subtle shimmer and bold red lip color to enhance my overall appearance. I donned a pair of black knee-high boots to complete the look and added a matching choker and diamond studs. To add a touch of radiance, I delicately applied a hint of highlighter to my cheeks and mascara to my lashes. It was nearly eight o'clock when I left the bathroom after getting ready for the party.I heard a knock on the door as I was leaving the bathroom. I opened the door to find Vero looking at me from head to toe, her face lit up.With a mischievous giggle, she joked, "You know, if I were a guy or a lesbian, I would be all over you."Her lighthearted words filled the room with laughter as she gracefully entered my space. There was no way I could not appreciate her sense of humor."Oh, thank you very much," I responded, returning the compliment."You look great as well."Vero's ou

  • Into the Night   Chapter 12

From Ikaris's POVHaving Alassandra so close to me was a source of immense difficulty for me, as she was both near and yet so distant. Every second spent in her presence was excruciating, as I longed to possess her completely. However, the interruption of her phone prevented me from acting on my desires, leaving me frustrated and unfulfilled. The intensity of my longing for her was unparalleled, and I could not help but imagine the pleasure I would have given her as I ripped her clothes off and made her scream my fucken name."I'll see you later, little lamb," I replied, smirking as I walked out the door. There was an indescribable quality about her that consumed my attention and made me oblivious to my surroundings whenever I was in her presence. Alassandra Khairi had an inexplicable hold over me, as if she possessed a magnetic force. She was my kryptonite that drew me towards her. She became my weakness, my ultimate downfall. Like a potent drug, I found myself constantly craving her

  • Into the Night   Chapter 13

From Ikaris's POVArriving at Pi Alpha Sigma Tau, I went directly to the living room."Good morning, gentleman," I said to everyone as I walked toward the fireplace. Turning around, I glanced at the twelve members. All of whom had been hand-picked by Argos and me to uphold the Valerious values and traditions on campus and off. What had started as only six members over the years expanded to twelve, each possessing a specific skill set we would need in the event Alassandra arrived. However, everything changed when she turned out to be my mate. I had no idea what I would do, but one thing was certain: I needed to ensure that tonight's event went off without any problems."Gentlemen, tonight's event is to give you all a break and let you unwind. However, let's not forget that we have a goal as well. All of you need to recruit a new member, just as you were recruited. We need a total of six gentlemen; you know what we ask and what we look for. Remember, all those selected will have to reac

  • Into the Night   Chapter 14

From Alassandra's POVThere was an intense throbbing sensation in my head as if a powerful force had struck me with a hammer. Instinctively, I reached up and applied pressure to my forehead, hoping to alleviate the excruciating pain that seemed to be emanating from deep within. As I sat up, a sharp, unexpected jolt of agony shot through my thighs, causing me to gasp in shock. My eyes darted downwards, only to discover that I was inexplicably clad in nothing but a T-shirt, a garment that did not belong to me. Hastily pushing the blanket aside, my attention was drawn to a small, tender bruise nestled between my legs. Tentatively, I gingerly touched the discolored mark, wincing as a surge of discomfort coursed through my body. Bewilderment washed over me as I struggled to comprehend how this injury had come to be. Glancing around the unfamiliar surroundings, it dawned on me that I was not in the comfort of my own room. Panic began to set in as I realized that my memory of the previous ni

From Alassandra's POVRing Ring RingThe sound of my phone jolted me from a deep sleep. Sitting up in bed, I noticed I was in my room. I was confused. Last I remembered, I was in Ikaris's room. I took a deep breath and tried to think about what had happened. I slowly began to remember the events of the night and the pleasure he gave me. Disbelief, grogginess, and disorientation flooded my eyes as my phone rang on my nightstand. I shook my head in an attempt to clear the fog and quickly grabbed my phone, looking at the caller ID to see that it was Lillian."Hello," I answered, rubbing sleep from my eyes."Ala, where have you been? I have been calling you for the past two days! Are you OK?" Lillian asked, her voice filled with concern."Yeah, I'm fine. Why are you so worried?" I asked, confused by her sudden concern for me."I need to talk to you. Where are you?" she asked."I'm on campus in my dorm. Why?" • Into the Night   Chapter 36

From Alassandra's POV The taste of his cock in my mouth, to put it mildly, was overwhelming, and I could not stop myself from savoring it. The intense sensation ignited a fire within me, fueling my desires and leaving me yearning for more. In that moment, I felt a sense of liberation, as if my inhibitions had melted away, allowing me to fully embrace my primal instincts and indulge in the pleasure that engulfed me. The moment he slid his entire length into my mouth, Ikaris moaned in pleasure as his hands gripped my head. "Fuck!" he mumbled. It was with a growing sense of satisfaction that I moaned, knowing he was pleased, when suddenly I left his hands around my shoulders. Ikaris lifted me to my feet and pushed me toward the bed. "As much as I want to fuck you right here and right now, I need to know what the fuck is on?" he said. "Seriously? You don't want to fuck me?" I asked, tilting my head to the side as I slid my fingers down the front of his dick and licked the outside of my

  • Into the Night   Chapter 35

From Alassandra's POVAs a result of my father's words, I was left in a state of shock. At no point did I consider that I might have been pregnant, regardless of the fact that it made sense after all the sex Ikaris and I had together. There was no doubt in my mind that now, more than ever, it was imperative that I find a way out of here; the life of my unborn child depended on it.As darkness fell, I felt the pull of the moon call me. Turning my gaze to the small window-like hole in the ceiling, I stood there staring at the moon. Although it wasn't considered a full moon, something about it was different. Through the small hole, I could see a glowing red ring begin to form around the moon. At that moment, my entire body was filled with a tingling sensation that originated from my toes and worked its way up to my head. Closing my eyes, my head fell back, and I felt myself begin to slowly levitate off the ground. I began chanting words in a language I had never heard myself speak before

  • Into the Night   Chapter 34

From Ikaris's POVI continued to stare at the image in the book: a harpy? How the fuck was that possible? I couldn't figure out why we hadn't seen it sooner. When we looked back on our childhood, there was never any indication that Moriah was anything more than a half-breed. I shook my head in disbelief. Maybe Moriah had been hiding her true nature from us all along. It made me wonder if our parents were aware of the truth, or more importantly, if our father didn't have an affair with Yadhira, then who?It had been six hours since I last heard from Alassandra. My restlessness was starting to get the better of me. Having risen to my feet, I began pacing back and forth, trying to think of the various locations where Moriah might have taken Alassandra. When it dawned on me, it had occurred to me that Vero had followed her numerous times into the thickets of the woods; maybe she had caught a glimpse of the location where she was hiding."Argos, call Vero now," I told him as I rushed back

  • Into the Night   Chapter 33

From Alassandra's POV My eyes were filled with nothing but hatred as I gazed at him with nothing but disdain in my heart. The audacity of my father standing before me with a sinister grin on his face, daring to call me daughter, as if that word meant something to me now. I wanted to scream and lash out at him, but instead, I stayed silent. Knowing full well that my words wouldn't make a difference, I was powerless to stop him at this point. "Is something wrong with you? Have you forgotten your manners? I did not raise you to be so disrespectful to your elders, let alone your parents," my father said as he approached closer. I laughed at his words. "Can you please let me know exactly what it is that you would like me to say? Thank you so much for kidnapping me," I replied in a sarcastic tone. My father glared at me, his face red with anger. "Why can't you just be respectful and say hello to your father?" he asked. "Let's see, you are trying to kill me. You kidnapped me and chained

  • Into the Night   Chapter 32

From Alassandra's POV The sound of water dripping awakened me from my deep sleep and brought me out of the trance that I was in. In the midst of the pounding in my head, I whined in pain. Groaning, I placed my hand on my forehead as I opened my eyes and sat up, only to find myself chained to a wall. "What in the hell?" I murmured to myself as I reached for the chain around my ankle and pulled it. "Ikaris!" I yelled out, "I swear to the goddess I am personally going to see to it that your dick shrivels and falls off if you don't get me out of these chains!" I pulled as hard as I could, trying desperately to free myself, but my efforts were futile, leaving me no choice but to give up. Standing to my feet, I walked around until the chain stopped me. A sigh of frustration filled my lungs as I searched for help, but nobody was in sight. I was on my own. Taking a seat against the wall, I tried to piece together what had happened. Yet, nothing made sense. I recalled going out for a run, b

  • Into the Night   Chapter 31

From Ikairs' POVThe moment I heard Alassandra's voice echo through the mind link, I saw red. Rushing out the door, I didn't even bother to say anything to Argos, Yadhira, or Lillian. As I ran out of the building, I heard Argos' voice through the mind-link."Why did you rush out in the middle of the meeting?" Argos asked."Alassandra's in trouble!" was all I could say.A few moments later, I saw Argos running toward me."Where is she?" Argos asked. The moment those words left his mouth, we were stopped in our tracks by the sight before us. I watched helplessly as Moriah carried Alassandra away. The howlings of Phosphorus reverberated in my head loud and clear. The fact that we couldn't do anything to stop Moriah made it more sinister. After coming to a complete halt, I let out a loud growl of frustration."Impossible," I heard Argos whisper beside me as he was in shock."What the fuuuccck?" I growled as I ran my hand down my face. "Argos, what is she? Tell me what Moriah is?" I said a

  • Into the Night   Chapter 30

From Alassandra's POVMy thoughts ran rampant; as a result, I found it very difficult to focus on anything that was being discussed at the time. About halfway through the meeting, I decided I had had enough. Standing to my feet, I hastily walked out of the office and out of the building.Having a clear mind was what I needed at that moment. The most effective way I knew how to do it was to head out for a run. Rushing to my room, I quickly changed into some gym clothes, grabbed my headphones, and rushed out. This time, I opted to stay away from the woods. It was a constant source of anxiety for me to know that my parents were out there and could be lurking around every corner. As I exited my dorm building, I looked around, trying to determine in what direction I should run. After a few short moments, I decided to take the main street that led to the main gate and choose from there.Shrugging my shoulders, I adjusted my headphones and turned on my Spotify. The moment the sound of "Down

  • Into the Night   Chapter 29

From Alassandra's POV"NO!" my father yelled, an expression of concern filling his voice. After lowering my hands to my side, I stared at him for a brief period of time before I spoke to him."I don't understand. What is the problem? I was under the impression that you wanted what I had taken from you." I said with mockery."It is true that you have stolen what is ours. However, it is not our intention to fight with you," my father replied."Oh, really, you could have fucken fooled us?" Ikaris growled as he stepped toward me."Stay out of this wolf!" echoed my mother's response as she stepped towards my father and gripped his forearm in an act of protection. "Not here," she said, pulling my father back.My head tilted to the side, and my eyes narrowed for a moment as I squinted before taking a step forward, only to hear both of my parents gasp in horror and step back in surprise. The only expression on their faces was one of fear.A sadistic laugh escaped my lips as I turned my back o
