One month later
Patience's POV
I sat on the steps listening to Claude talk about himself, most of which was ignored. We were set to be wedded tomorrow, a union which I had no say in sadly, but according to my mother, it would be the greatest thing to ever happen to me.
The car pulling over to side had my mood changing for the better, Claude turned smiling looking at her as she stepped out of the car moving over to us.
"Claude, Patience,"
"Always so formal Hannah," he joked and she smiled her eyes moving to me and I returned one, the month that had passed only served in us growing closer. We talked about any and everything when we were alone. I was actually happy to see her since I had finished another page earlier today and I had been awaiting a moment to discuss it with her.
"Patience," she called out breaking my thoughts and I looked up to see Claude getting into her car driving off.
"Where is he going?" I asked as she held out her hand.
"I don't know and I could care less what that man does as long as he doesn't damage my baby," she responded amused referring to her car and I laughed slightly taking her hand standing up.
"Is your mother on the inside?" she asked softly as we began walking around the back of the house.
"Already in need of a rematch?" I questioned and she smiled.
"Maybe later on, I wore this tie especially for her," she joked and I laughed
"Where is Patsy?" She asked
"She went to town, "
"If I had known I would've stopped and picked her up on my way over, " she replied frowning as we made our way over to the swing, that was surrounded by trees which blocked us from the sight of anyone who was at the house.
"Do you want to push me?" I asked softly sitting on the swing and she released a small laugh moving behind me her hands staying on my waist, moving me back and forth slightly since she knew it would be difficult for us to talk if she had-
"I can tell you want to tell me something?"
"I did but we can discuss the book later,"
"Are you sure your memory can wait until later?" She asked amused and I laughed slightly.
"That only happened twice," I reasoned
"So what do you want to talk about?"
"I want to ask you something" I replied remembering the thought that had ran through my mind this morning.
"What about?"
"Have you ever been..been to bed with a man?" I asked shyly not knowing if I was overstepping or not but her silence was enough to have me panicking. Regret suddenly filled me and I turned looking back at her to find her amused and relief ran through me.
"That is quite a question," she mumbled smiling.
"You don't have to answer it if it makes you uncomfortable,"
"It doesn't, and no I've never slept with a man," she replied and I frowned.
"Then how can you know for sure that you're gay?" I asked confused.
"The same attraction you feel for men, I feel for women, it's not a choice"
"But have you never wanted to try, to see what it was like?"
"Have you ever wanted to try with a woman to see what it was like?" She asked shooting back the question at me and I smiled shyly looking away from her, returning my gaze to the trees before me, knowing that I had thought about it numerous times in the last week. I felt her hands pulling away from my waist and before I knew it she was standing before me.
"So that is yes?" She asked softly and I looked up at her, not being able to fight the funny feeling in my tummy.
"Yes, I have, have you?" I asked softly and she smiled.
"I have never thought about sleeping with a man, I've only desired to be bedded with women," she confessed and I nodded searching my brain for a subject change.

Hannah's POVI sat on the swing rocking slightly as I took a sip from my glass of champagne, loving the fact that the trees and the night's sky worked together to shield me away from the crowds of people who were currently in the house, partying up a storm.I looked down at my feet that were pressed into the floor, knowing I would have to spend the night here since
Hannah's POVI laid there watching as she slept, she looked absolutely beautiful, carefree and peaceful. It was a pleasant sight since I hadn't seen her like this in long while no matter how much I tried, she was always in a bad mood leading up to her wedding and on the day there was nothing but anguish and longing present in her eyes.I could've fooled myself into
Hannah's POVI stood there placing more goods in the cupboard, ignoring the elephant in the room as I did so. She had been quiet since we left Walter's house. I knew I had overstepped last night, I wanted to apologize but I didn't know where to start, she was a married woman for God sake and I couldn't push away my emotions to respect the union she had with Claude.
Patience's POVI continued down the dirt path, with Claude by my side, it had become a habit, a part of my daily routine. This walk was where Claude would discuss the events that happened the day before since we rarely got time together because he was always busy with 'man's work' as well as the furnishing of our new home.It had been two days since I had last seen

Hannah's POVI sat there comfortably, my gaze of appreciation staying on her as she continued to read the poem I had asked her to. A small smile met my face as I took in the slight movements of her lips as she read which complimented her look of deep concentration."Ms Gails," I heard Ms Brown call out and I turned my head facing her, snapping out of my trance."What is this?" I asked softly frowning, taking the letter from her outstretched hands."It was sent by your father," she announced as I began pulling it open."Thank you, Ms Brown," I replied silently dismissing her, I leaned back in the chair as I unfolded the paper reading the words written.I'm writing this letter with nothing but disgrace and shame in mind, your actions have left me dishonoured and in utter disbelief. Mr Walters has informed me of your trespasses against him and his family, you shall return Mr Walters property at once, Patsy is not yours to k
Patience's POVI opened my eyes restless, after what felt like hours of trying to fall asleep. Hannah's POVHer head was resting on my shoulder as we laid in my bed, my hand moving up and down her back slowly, leaving me at peace."Are you okay?" I asked softly and she hummed in response snuggling into me, making me smile.
Hannah's POVI slowly continued to move down the road leaving town, my eyes catching Victor who was a minute away, I sped up my pace turning the minute into seconds as I stopped beside him."Madam" He greeted and I nodded as he climbed up sitting beside me, we moved off once more and I sighed growing tired of the non-
Hannah's POV"Phillip," I called out remembering his name from the time I had met the boy, and worry filled me as I wondered if he had been kilt but it died slowly when he removed himself from the shadows."Ms. Hannah" he called out he was no more than 15 but could pass for 18 with his height and build.
Hannah's POVI felt shifting beside me the sounds of whimpers forcing my eyes open, I pulled my body from the bed reaching over shaking her slightly, realizing she was having another night-terror which would be the second one tonight."Patience," I called out twice and I watched as her eyes opened slowly, fear present in her gaze as she moved into my hold quickly r
