CHAPTER 63

OWEN'S POV

I clutched my bleeding stomach as my vision got hazy but I refused to back down. I had to keep going, to finish what I started. I don't mind dying for her, but he'll go with me.

He moved closer to me getting ready to strike again but froze when flashlights were pointed to his face. The police were finally here. I had no idea how much time had passed but I was glad that they finally showed up.

Michael's eyes were full of panic as he looked back at me and he clenched his fist tightly.

“You think this is over? You think they can stop me from ending you?” He gritted, his voice full of malice and anger but when one of the policemen shouted, I could see the fear in his eyes.

“Hands where I can see them!” The police man shouted and Michael hesitated for a moment as he glanced between me and the officers but he knew he was cornered.

He finally raised his hands in surrender and the police tackled him down as they cuffed his wrists and dragged him away.
