Arthur left the company early and cancelled all of his meetings for tonight, no matter how important they were. He was now driving his Lamborghini on the highway toward the airport, and it was too early for him to arrive. He exits his car after parking in the park area, wearing black sunglasses and leaning against the car while taking his cigarettes. He used to smoke a lot when he was stressed, and she smokes because of Ellie that giving him headaches.

“Arthur?” A woman in a short dress that almost exposes her legs suddenly stops in front of him. Her clothes are even tighter on her, revealing the curve of her body.

“Veronica, is that you?” he asked, surprised to see the girl he had a fling with in college.

“Yes, it’s me, and you’ve changed a lot, huh?” She gives him a lustful look from head to toe.

“It’s my sister,” he replied casually, “How about you? Are you fetching someone here?”

“Four o’clock it said.”

Veronica checked her gold watch and saw that it was still forty five minutes before the time he had specified. She gave him a big smile after catching a glimpse in her watch. “Do you mind if I join you in your wait?”

Arthur’s brow twitched. He already knows what it means, so he throws away his cigarette because he feels the need to distract himself from the stress in his head caused by Ellie. “Are you sure?”

“Of course, why not?” she exclaimed childishly.

“All right,” Arthur said and opened the door to his car’s backseat. “Come in.”

The two entered at the backseat of the Lamborghini with its tinted windows. Veronica quickly sits on him, her legs open wide, and begins kissing Arthur with her cherry lipstick. When Veronica left, Arthur went to the airport wearing his sunglasses. Everyone he meets, especially the women, is staring at him as if he were on stage. He didn’t mind them and had already used the line that every woman is dying for him just to get his attention. As soon as he entered the airport, he noticed her already descending the escalator, which left him stunned. Ellie seems to be a nerd in the big eyeglasses she is wearing and her hair was all tied up at the back. She was wearing a highwaist jeans and stripe yellow croptop inside her black varsity jacket. Their eyes met when she saw him standing and pretended like he didn’t see her.

“What are you doing here?” The first question that Ellie asked as she get close to him with her single luggage.

“You seems not happy to see me,” he said in his cold tone.

“Why are you the one fetching me here, Arthur?” Ellie asked in confused because as far she remembers, her adoptive parents will be the one to get her in the airport.

“Trust me, I didn’t like the idea of getting you here. Mom called last night and do me a favor to fetch you because they have important errands to do.” He grimaced.

“Okay fine. What can I do? You are already here.” She rolled her eyes and her forehead suddenly knotted as she noticed something in his face. “I bet you were somewhere else before you came here.”

“What are you talking about?”

Before answering his question, Ellie took something from her sling bag. “You have lipstick on your face, moron!” She throws her handkerchief in his face and walks away, pulling her luggage bag. “Such an asshole.” She grumbled.

Arthur wipe his face immediately with the handkerchief and didn’t even think that there is something in his face as he enter the airport. He realized now the reason why people are looking at him earlier. Veronica didn't even bother telling him. After cleaning his face, he follows Ellie’s trail and finds her in front of the airport’s exit door, talking to someone.

“I didn’t expect to see you here, El. We last met last summer in Japan, and now we’re both here in the Philippines,” a man their age with blonde hair said, surprised to see Ellie in coincidence. “What a small world, isn’t it?”

“We are just living in the same world, Edison, so expect anytime that we’ll see each other often especially we’re back now in our country home,” she chuckled that made Arthur walk into them.

“I hope I didn’t interrupt the conversation,” he said, his gaze fixed on the man in front of them.

“Oh, is this your boyfriend, El?”

“No he’s not!” She answered immediately after hearing the question. “Edison, this is my brother.” She start introducing. “Arthur, this is Edison, my friend-“

“Let’s go now. There are a lot of important things waiting for you in the house,” Arthur cut her off and took her luggage and began pulling it outside the exit.

“I guess you’ll have to go with your brother.”

“Yeah, right.” She grimaced in annoyance.

“It’s nice to see you, El. If by any chance, I would like to invite you on a dinner.”

“We’ll see to it but for now I have to go, Edison. It’s nice to see you here too and take care.”
