It’s been over a week now and I just sit and stare at his last message every single day before going to the head house hoping he’ll be dropping a hint if he was or wasn’t coming.

I had to still go to the head house, scared of the fact that he might just show up even if he hasn’t been here for days. These days when I could spend every second with Jaden, I still had to leave with the thought that he might just show up without announcement.

I brushed it behind me, focusing my mind back to what I was doing. Rose already dropped Jaden at school but wasn’t back yet. I thought to clear up the bakery that was now dusty as it hadn’t been in use for weeks now.

‘Well we had just one person to blame for all this’ I twirl my head hissing at the thought of Asher.

Why couldn’t he just send a message or at least inform Tristan that he wouldn’t come to Inspect his special trees today or the days before? Now I just go there and sit with a full head house of lycans with Marcus
