I watch him go after Asher as my words settle in. What did I do? I didn’t have a choice and I hate to see the smug look on his face like he had control of everything concerning me.

Truth be told I hadn’t figured out what truly I wanted to say to Tristan before now. I know I had to give him an answer and I didn’t know it would be today.

After I had planned to take all the time in the world before giving him any response then all of a sudden all it took was to stare at his face as I blurted out those words to spite him.
