~Lily~ I told him what he wanted to hear if it meant I’ll be warned ahead. He was acting like a different person which was weird and in a little way a little scary. He could be acting calm and different, only to pounce on me at the end. I used my eyes to search for Nova even though I didn’t need to again. Raya was in agreement that Jaden was a better challenge even though we don’t like him. We practically were training to be able to ward him off. “Why are you looking for him?” His voice was low, sounding like when Dad was about to lose his patience with Cam or Tyler. “He’s one of the best and first teachers I ever had aside from Molly, I guess?” I was even in doubt with myself as that was the only reason I could think of. Was pretty hoping I could spar up with him, so I could have another go with him. It boosted my confidence knowing I could stand up to someone who it wasn’t his first time fighting. But truth be told, if we were to talk about my ev
~Lily~ “I’m so glad you made it out of there alive. I was thinking I would be losing my very first friend I made here.” She sounded serious as she hugged me again. I can’t count how many times she has said this throughout our walk back to the pack house. I got out of my own room and after doing the needful and went to her room and she still repeated the same thing upon seeing me and hugging me dearly and sincerely. I didn’t know if I was to laugh at her actions or really be grateful I wasn’t in a position where I would have been his target all through the day with different shades and colour of eyes, sizing me up like I was one big imposter. “Come on, he really couldn’t swallow me whole in front of everyone, could he?” I think that question was more of a me answer question as myself and wolf went into a debate on the possibility. “Well that’s that. He was quite easy on you, did you notice?” She muttered slowly, like she was just noticing it. Of course he was, if he
~Lily~ I was already getting so used to this waking up earlier, even though people started coming earlier to stretch out too. The training was getting a bit serious and according to Molly, most people got their a** whopped like babies yesterday. The sight of some people trying to work out those muscles early using a mat sent a shiver down my spine. I really needed that picture out of my head. I stalked over to where there was some shade on the sidelines for people to sit and watch. It used to be my place when I was just a spectator. I walked to have a sit as I did the best I could, talking myself out of whatever I just got reminded off. “I hate him! Hate everything about and his bullying but I still need to learn from him.” I muttered out, needing to say the truth. He was stronger and better than anyone else here. “Hmm excuse me? You're standing just in front of me.” She walked to my front all of a sudden like it was nothing. She was well
~Lily~ The whole Space was now packed with everyone and I couldn’t even figure out where Molly was and I also couldn’t call her. We exchanged numbers and all but I didn’t come down with my phone, so I have to go manual. This wasn’t where we used to stand and prepare ourselves and mind for training. Just some Jaden obsessed wolf that pushed me into another direction. Wasn’t a plan to think to smell her out since they were all the same and that would be an entirely bad idea if I chose to use my nose. I didn’t want to smell up some nasty stuff all in the name of my search. I know it was still very early and there shouldn’t be any foul smell. It just wasn’t looking like something I wanted to try out. I continued taking gentle steps, walking through their midst, hoping I really didn’t have to walk for so long. Generally, I feel it was their height slowing me down a bit. Here it looked like it had more male wolves with hefty and nice build up. I had to cover my eyes
~Lily~ “Ohh really? I didn’t know I was going to become a topic too?” His voice stopped me in my tracks as I slowly but didn’t want to turn to that voice. Of course I was talking about him. I didn’t know how it happened but everything I hate could just be summed up in one name and it was Jaden. It felt a little troublesome in the air as our eyes met and I could feel his eyes literally burning into my skin as he slowly had them moved from my face down to the hands that held mine in his. I didn’t know what was wrong but his eyes made me feel like I was doing something wrong and besides the fact that I didn’t care what he thought and would definitely do the opposite from whatever he agreed to. It suddenly felt wrong and there wasn’t a solid reason to even back that up as I found my hands easing away a little from Nova’s hands but he didn’t go. He held them tightly like it was nothing. His eyes quickly looked for mine with his usual sweet smile before turning to face
~ Lily~ We were definitely going to act like that didn’t just happen as he remained silent like I was, moving with little pace, when it was really like we just moved our legs slowly not necessarily walking with a purpose. “A very protective brother, yeah?” He still found a way to smile after what just happened. I stopped in my tracks to face him, wondering and thinking it through if I should let him know he wasn’t really my brother. But there wouldn’t be a need for that since this was an easier understandable situation. How would I tell him he was probably beside their possible disagreement, he was only doing that to bully me since that’s the only thing he does with me. “Hmm hmm one can say acting more than the role.” I covered up, wanting nothing to start with endless explanations about my bullying journey and everything. “He almost got me confused at some point there.” He let out a small laugh as he was grinning from ear to ear with his head bowed down
~Lily ~ I was certain I was making good progress, holding my ground and pulling everything off. I don’t know if he was looking but I used everything he gave off as my guide with my fight with Nova. It was fun and the only different between today and yesterday’s fight was the light hearted mood. I got a lot of dramatic expressions from Nova whenever I got close to him, with sincere laughter erupting between us, distracting and putting us on the spotlight as we had some eyes locked on us. Molly didn’t miss her chance and sent different weird faces my way every time she thought we were getting real close with our body. I wasn’t in any way complaining but it really felt longer than usual. The rumbling in my stomach was what dropped the thoughts in my head. It was over and the rumbling was all that was in my mind as I silently placed a hand on my stomach. Waiting for Molly to come over so we can both go out. “You hungry?” He asked in a very quiet way l
~Lily~I felt a lot better with some of my strength back as we made our way out of the pack house. Had but little time to process all that Molly said. We are pretty much just friends and I don’t think that he likes me the way she described and how she made it sound. There wasn’t really a point there, she talked about how he was always smiling at me and always locked eyes with me when talking. Isn’t that the normal way it is? I mean when we both talk I take note of every single thing, even her body language. She always expressed a lot and it’s always fun getting more information than what she was already saying. There were always extra meaning and a deeper understanding when she expressed with her body. And we can’t say we don’t look at each other when talking. There wasn’t anything strange there but she was making it sound so, saying he was flat out flirting with me and I was respond way too casually. I had to ask her how she knew so much. Apparently, in her d
