We were definitely going to act like that didn’t just happen as he remained silent like I was, moving with little pace, when it was really like we just moved our legs slowly not necessarily walking with a purpose.

I stopped in my tracks to face him, wondering and thinking it through if I should let him know he wasn’t really my brother.
